I'm not sure it isn't 15 - the first death was never confirmed as the sample apparently didn't have any virus in it, and my reading of the counts out of Juarez is that one is not included in the official total.

But to me, there's something arbitrary about starting the count on March 22 anyway; we all know the H1N1 virus was everywhere prior to that date. They just seem to be counting from that date due to the police officers.

My guess is that it is a repeat of one already confirmed as it says this is the fifth death so far in Chihuahua. I believe they mean the fifth death in the capital city (which is the current count).

Reporting here may be a bit confusing as I believe the capital city and the state are both named Chihuahua (like Oklahoma City in Oklahoma in the US).

It appears that things have slowed in Chihuahua in terms of confirmed cases, assuming that they are still collecting samples and reporting the results.

27-year-old woman is patient number 49 of the human influenza

A 27-year-old woman of age which sample was taken days behind gave positive to the presence of the virus H1N1 and turned into the confirmed case number 49 since one began to give pursuit to the human influenza from the last March 20.
The spokesman of the Committee of Epidemiologic Alertness, H?ctor Puertas Rincones, pointed out that the patient is in his house, stable and in Franc improvement.
It indicated that after a month of pursuit five samples have studied 164 cases suspicious of carrying the virus, of which 49 have been positive, 102 negatives, pushed back for insufficient and eight are in process.
