Covid-19 in C?te d'Ivoire: the number of confirmed cases increases to 7,677

The Ivory Coast recorded Monday, June 22, 2020, 185 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 which brings the number of cases to 7,677.
The Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene recorded today, Monday, June 22, 2020, 185 new cases of COVID-19 out of 844 samples taken, representing 22% of positive cases, 60 cured and 02 deaths. Today we deplore two (02) deaths in the Service of Infectious and Tropical Diseases of the CHU of Treichville.
This is a 76-year-old patient with a history of stroke and pulmonary embolism and a 35-year-old patient with no specific history who died on arrival. The Minister of Health and Public Hygiene offers his condolences to the grieving family.
As of June 22, C?te d'Ivoire therefore has 7,677 confirmed cases including 3,128 people healed, 56 deaths and 4,493 active cases. The total number of samples is 45,996. The Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene recalls that the pandemic is not over.
He urges vulnerable populations, particularly the elderly and people with chronic illnesses, to reduce their displacement in order to protect themselves and their health.
The Minister of Health and Public Hygiene therefore calls for discipline and a sense of responsibility for everyone.
