The Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene recorded today, Wednesday, May 27, 2020, 79 new cases of Covid-19 out of 425 samples taken, representing 18.6% of positive cases, 16 cured and 01 deaths.

We deplore a death on the COVID-19 care site of the Yopougon University Hospital. This is a 64-year-old patient with a history of diabetes and high blood pressure who died in a pneumonia table.

With this new assessment, the total number of contaminations stands at 3,739 including 1,818 healed and 36 deaths. The number of cases in treatment is 1885, said the director general of health, Samba Mamadou.

COVID-19: the bar of 4,000 cases reached in C?te d'Ivoire

Abidjan, June 10 (AIP) - C?te d'Ivoire has reached the mark of more than 4,000 cases confirmed at covid-19 on Wednesday, with 186 new infections.

These new infections were listed on a sample of 612 tests, representing a seropositivity rate of 30.4%, said the director general of health, Pr Samba Mamadou.

As of the same date, 129 cured patients were registered, according to Samba.

The cumulative number of people healed since the onset of the pandemic in C?te d'Ivoire stands to date 2,174, he said, adding that 1,966 patients are still in treatment.

The number of deaths caused by Covid-19 also increased with three new victims. A total of 41 people died from coronavirus disease in the country.

According to the Director General of Health, 33,476 tests have been analyzed in the laboratory to date.

C?te d'Ivoire has 4181 confirmed cases of Covid 19, with 2174 cured and 41 deaths.

"Update on the situation of COVID-19 on 19/06/2020"
The Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene recorded today, Friday, June 19, 2020, 430 new cases of Covid-19 out of 1,632 samples taken, representing 26.3% of positive cases, 79 cured and 00 deaths.
As of June 19, C?te d'Ivoire therefore has 6,874 confirmed cases including 2,942 people recovered, 49 deaths and 3,883 active cases. The total number of samples is 43,075.
The Minister of Health and Public Hygiene insists on the respect of the rules of containment for people tested positive, this is necessary to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. He calls for the discipline and responsibility of each and everyone.
The Minister also notes a relaxation in the respect of the barrier measures, in particular the regular washing of the hands with soap and water and the wearing of masks when we are in public places. The purpose of these measures is to protect you and others.
He recalls that the pandemic is not over and that only compliance with these measures can allow us to control and control the pandemic on our soil.

(COVID-19) Ivory Coast: resumption of domestic flights

ABIDJAN, June 22 (Xinhua) - Domestic flights suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic will resume operations on June 26, an official note said on Monday.

According to the national airline, the resumption of flights between Abidjan and the other cities of the country will be done in strict compliance with the sanitary measures recommended by the authorities.

Passengers will also be required to wear a mask during the whole trip, with a distance to be respected at the aerodrome but not required on board aircraft, which will be systematically disinfected after each flight.

C?te d'Ivoire, which registered its first case of COVID-19 contamination on March 11, closed its air border on March 16.

To date, the country has 7,492 confirmed cases, of which 3,068 have been cured and 54 have died.
