Top five reasons why Bhopal has highest dengue cases in MP

With fresh dengue cases being detected, the number has crossed 250 in Bhopal, the highest among Madhya Pradesh's 51 districts so far.
Overall, the number of dengue cases has crossed 800 in Madhya Pradesh. This is worrying the city's residents as well as healthcare officials. The question that arises is despite all kinds of facilities, manpower, resources and infrastructure at the disposal of the administration in the state capital, why has it not been able to check dengue that has claimed four lives in Bhopal in 2014?

DENGUE CASES MOUNT TO 224 IN CITY, HIGHEST IN FIVE YEARS

The outbreak of dengue in the State Capital is becoming uncontrollable this time. The number of dengue positive patients reached 244 on Saturday. This is the maximum number of patients detected in the past five years.
This year, the most affected areas of the city are - Kolar road, TT Nagar and Shahpura. Only on Saturday, 11 new patients have been detected, while in past three days, then umber of patients reached 42.The health department officials claim that they have launched special drive to check dengue, but ironically, the special drive in past one month, could not control the situation.
On Saturday, once again taking the situation seriously, district Collector has asked the officials of different departments to take effective measures. Following this, it was decided that around 300 employees of district administration, Health department, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC), Fisheries department, Woman and Child Welfare department and School Education would reach door-to-door.
