Unusual event Block - Manjha, PHC - Manjha, Sub-Center – Koini, Village- Bhatwalia and Imliya 34 0 14/09/2012 2012-09-17 10:19:46 407 257 Children out of 407 were administered the Albendazole tablets. Only 34 out of 257 felt dizziness, headache and stomach pain. 2 children out of 34 were referred to District Hospital, Gopalganj for further treatment. Rest all cases were normal and conscious. Females were mostly affected than males. Age group 8 to 15 were affected. Yet to be collected and tested. RL, Saline, Dexamethson and Polybion were provided. Investigated by Members of RRT. Investigation Open Finally situation is under control. All the affected children felt dizziness, headache and stomach pain one hour after having the Albendazole tablets in the Middle School, Manjha, district Gopalganj.

Ujjain.on 150912 with symptoms of cough coryza and high fever. POSITIVE by ICMR Jabalpur(MP) Treatement was given to patient and relatives are under observation for next 7 days . Investigation Closed Patients relative wants to reffer pt. in Indore So they admitted pt. in CHL Hospital Indore and then to M.Y. Hosp. Indore. Informed to DSU Indore, for prevention & control measures. Death in MY Hospital Indore - 17.09.12 at 1.00 pm.

Hardoi, own Representative: District woman still in hospital patients are not getting the basic amenities. Women in hospital beds are not available yet. Alam that many - many beds, two - two patients are put. Municipal Magistrate District Women's Hospital on Friday inspected and circumstances raged.
Municipal Magistrate Badri Nath Singh on Friday at 9 o'clock and 45 minutes to observe the woman arrived at the hospital. The water supply to the canteen is from the near by bore well. The bore well is connected by pipes to overhead tank of the coffee house. The waste water management of the hotel is poor and the overflowed waste water is in close proximity to water pipes.Any leak will have inner suction by which the waste water enter the pipe system. Also taking history the students used to consume water from the cooler The samples had elevated serum bilurubin levels above 1.2. Random samples are collected and sent to NIV Alappuzha for Elisa IgM HAV test under the guidance of the epidemiologist on 24-9-12 and awaiting results. Three water samples collected, one from the overhead tank of Thriveni coffee house, second from the cooler and third from the residence near to college of some of the cases. District RRT comprising of Epidemiologist, TA Grade I visited the area on 24-9-12. The canteen is advised to be temporarily closed for 10 days. Until the waste water management is resumed to normal hygienic conditions. Superchlorination advised for 3 weeks in the overhead tank. The blood sample of the deceased is Dengue IgM Elisa positive(Pvt )Further 2 samples of fever patients sent to Civil Thane for further testing. List of immunization status in affected village has been obtained and instructions have been given for immunization of unimmunized children. 2. CHOLERA Pulluvila Block ( CHC Pulluvila, Sub centre Puthiyathura). Village - Karumkulam 1 0 23/09/2012 2012-10-03 13:03:39 7508 A case of cholera was reported from IDSP cell to Pulluvila CHC on 28.9.2012 at 6 pm. Saksha, 8 months old was suffering from diarrhea from 23.9.2012. She was taking to Anupama Hospital , Kanjiramkulam. Her elder brother having diarrhea treated at the same hospital. The boy was cured after 2 days of treatment. Since the condition of Saksha was not better, she was refered to SAT on 24.9.2012. The stool culture on 25.9.2012 showed that the cases due to cholera. Water sample taken and send to Analytical lab. RRT from district and block visited the area and conducted chlorination of water source and bleaching powder was applied in polluted water. Health education given to the people. DMO and team visited the area and conducted classes. In the afternoon of 29.9.2012 , preview meeting of the activities of all filed staff conducted at CHC Pulluvila by DMO, DPM and TA Gr I and Gr II. Chlorin tablets were distributed in all houses and chlorinated 38 well. Investigation Open Outbreak under control. No other cases reported.
