There are now seven people with swine flu in a critical condition in the intensive care unit of Royal Darwin Hospital.
Three people with serious underlying health conditions have died after contracting swine flu in the Northern Territory, with a middle-aged man the latest person to die with the virus last Sunday.
Health authorities say there are now 1014 confirmed cases of the virus in the Territory, with about 15,700 cases across the country.
