he Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in Cairo launched a campaign to spray and clean up the markets, specifically the sale of live birds, as part of a plan to reduce the viral load of avian influenza and prevent the spread of diseases and epidemics. Dr. Shehata Shenouda, director of the veterinary department in Helwan told Al-Watan that he is clearing the market of Kafr Al-Alu by using the disinfectants necessary by the spraying machine for the administration, stressing that the work of cleansing and resistance to avian flu and epidemics is continuing to reduce the losses and preserve the lives of citizens.
