MONTREAL -- Quebec reported on Friday that 745 more people have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 437,549 since the start of the pandemic.

Of those who tested positive, 419 were unvaccinated, 15 received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks ago, and 311 were double-vaxxed more than seven days prior to testing positive.

The Quebec Institute of Public Health (INSPQ) in monitoring 6,128 active COVID-19 cases, and 580 outbreaks...

... The province added two new deaths due to the disease for a total of 11,552 since March 2020.

The health ministry said there were 17 new patients who checked in to the hospital for COVID-19 treatment and 21 were discharged. There are now 201 hospitalizations, including 45 people in intensive care wards, which is one fewer than the previous day.

Of the 17 new patients, 12 were unvaccinated and five received both doses more than seven days prior to checking in...

MONTREAL -- Quebec's health ministry reported Saturday that 815 more people have tested positive for COVID-19, including 483 who were not fully vaccinated.

It is the first time the daily case increase has exceeded 800 since Sept. 18. Of the those who tested positive, 463 were unvaccinated, 20 received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks prior to the test, and 332 were double-vaxxed more than a week prior to their test, according to the health ministry.

There are 580 active outbreaks the ministry is monitoring.

The province also added three new deaths due to the disease and hospitalizations remain stable at 201 with 16 patients checking into the hospital and 16 being discharged. Intensive care numbers also remained stable at 45...

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported on Sunday that 707 more people have tested positive for COVID-19, with 413 of those not fully vaccinated.

Of those people who tested positive, 396 were unvaccinated, 17 received one dose of vaccine more than 14 days prior and 294 received both doses more than seven days prior...

Of the 21 new patients, 12 were unvaccinated, one received one dose more than two weeks before entering the hospital and eight received both doses more than a week prior.

There are four fewer people in intensive care wards for a total of 41...

Quebec added 692 cases of COVID-19 and two new deaths on Monday as the health crisis continues.

To date, Quebec has tallied 439,763 infections.

Of the new cases reported Monday, 398 are among people who are unvaccinated or less than two weeks removed from a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Pandemic-related hospitalizations increased by five over the last day, with 13 new patients admitted and eight discharged, for a total of 204. Of those, 46 were in the ICU...

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported on Tuesday that 699 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 440,462 since March 2020.

Of the new cases reported, 435 (62 per cent) were from people who weren't fully vaccinated and 264 (37 per cent) were from people who got their second dose more than seven days after their positive test...

...Hospitalizations decreased by one in the past 24 hours after 16 more people were admitted to hospital and 17 were discharged. Of the 16 people who were hospitalized, nine were not vaccinated and seven had their second shot more than one week prior.

There are now 203 hospitalizations, including 46 people in the ICU, which remained stable from Monday.

The Quebec Institute of Public Health (INSPQ) is reporting 6,326 active cases in the province, an increase of two from the day before...

...Quebec added 882 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday and one new death, bringing the caseload since the start of the pandemic to 441,344.

Health authorities, however, note that 423,075 people have recovered.

The number of active cases has climbed to 6,703, with the seven-day average for daily infections remaining above the 700-mark at 751.

Of the new cases reported on Tuesday, 537 are among people who are unvaccinated or less than 14 days removed from a first dose of vaccine.

The last time new cases were this high in Quebec was on Sept. 11, when 995 new infections were reported.

Hospitalizations are on the rise with 27 new patients admitted and 19 discharged for a total of 211– an increase of eight in the past day. Of those hospitalized, 46 are in the ICU...

MONTREAL -- Coronavirus cases in Quebec are ramping up yet again with the province logging 902 new infections Thursday, the largest increase in months.

It's the second day in a row the province exceeded highs not seen since September.

The province also reported an increase in deaths due to the virus, which have increased by five, for a total of 11,571.

Quebec public health is monitoring 6,703 active cases and 633 active outbreaks.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 442,246 people have caught COVID-19, of which 423,075 have since recovered.

Hospitalizations decreased by one overall, with 20 people entering care, and 21 no longer receiving it since Wednesday's update.

Of those in hospital, 45 are in the ICU, a decrease of one since the day before.

MONTREAL -- After reporting more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases for two straight days, Quebec announced Sunday that 875 more people have tested positive for the virus.

Of those who tested positive, the health ministry says 483 people were unvaccinated, 13 received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks prior and 379 were double-vaxxed more than a week prior.

There were no new deaths due to the disease in the province, but hospitalizations jumped by 11 with 24 people checking into hospitals in Quebec for COVID-19 treatment and 13 being discharged.

Of the 24 new patients, 17 were unvaccinated, one received one dose of vaccine more than 14 days prior to checking in, and six received both doses more than seven days prior to entering the hospital.

Quebec is reporting 784 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday and three additional deaths attributed to the virus.

To date, the province has recorded 448,171 infections and 428,679 recoveries bringing the number of active cases to 7,913.

Pandemic-related hospitalizations increased by one in the last day with 227 patients. Of, those, 51 are in intensive care for a jump of six.

On Monday, the province confirmed its first case of the Omicron variant in a person having recently arrived from Nigeria, with another 115 travellers under watch.

Quebec’s top doctor said the new variant was being monitored to see if it becomes the dominant variant ahead of the Delta variant...
