MONTREAL -- Quebec reported Sunday morning that 567 more people have become infected with COVID-19 as hospitalizations continued to decrease within the province.

Health authorities also reported one more person has died due to the virus.

Overall hospitalizations decreased by eight for a new total of 236 people in care.

Of those, 62 are in the ICU, down five since Saturday.

Public health is monitoring 478 active outbreaks within the province...

MONTREAL -- Quebec has 497 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 426,457 since the start of the pandemic.

The province's health officials also confirmed two more deaths, a total of 11,496...

... Hospitalizations are up by eight, bringing the number of people in Quebec hospitals to 244, that is 19 admissions and 11 discharges.

Of those, 67 people are in intensive care; up by five -- eight new patients and three that were released.

Of the new cases, 311 people are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated with one dose received less than 14 days ago; five are people who had one dose more than two weeks ago and 181 are people who received two doses of a vaccine more than seven days ago.

Of the new hospitalizations, nine are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated people who received one dose less than two weeks ago; none are people who had one dose more than two weeks ago and 10 are people who received two doses more than one week ago...

MONTREAL -- Quebec is reporting 490 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday as hospitalizations and ICU cases rise.

There are also six new deaths due to the coronavirus, according to provinicial data, bringing the total number of deaths to 11,502.

Of the 490 new infections, 301 (61 per cent) are people who aren't fully vaccinated, while 189 cases (38 per cent) are people who got their second dose of vaccine more than seven days ago.

Over the last 24 hours, 22 people were admitted to hospital with COVID-19 and 16 patients were discharged, for an overall increase of six people hospitalized. A total of 250 people are now in hospital with the virus.

Among the new admissions, 16 were not vaccinated and six had their second jab more than one week ago. ..

Quebec is reporting 688 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday and four more deaths attributed to the virus.

Health officials say COVID-19-related hospitalizations dropped by 11 to 229, while the number of people in intensive care declined by six to 51.

The seven-day average for new cases stands at 561.

Of the latest reported infections, 409 were among people who were either unvaccinated or who had only received a first dose within the past two weeks...

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported Sunday that 545 more people have tested positive for COVID-19, with 352 of those not fully vaccinated.

The health ministry said 333 people who tested positive for the novel coronavirus were unvaccinated, while 19 received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks ago, and 193 were double-vaxxed more than seven days prior.

The province also recorded three more deaths due to the disease, and there are 437 active outbreaks in the province.

Eleven people checked into hospitals in the province for COVID-19 treatment and 13 were discharged, dropping the hospitalizations in Quebec to 227. Of those, 50 people are in intensive care wards, a decrease of one...

MONTREAL -- Quebec is reporting four new deaths due to COVID-19 on Monday and 531 new infections as active cases once again surpassed 5,000 across the province.

There have been a total of 11,522 deaths in Quebec due to the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic.

Of the new infections reported, 347 (65 per cent) were not fully vaccinated, while 184 of them (34 per cent) got their second dose of the vaccine more than a week ago. The positivity rate in Quebec is 2.4 per cent.

The majority of the people admitted to hospital with the virus in the last 24 hours were also not adequately vaccinated. There were nine people admitted who weren't vaccinated and three people who got their second jab more than seven days ago. Fourteen people were discharged from the hospital in the previous day.

Overall, hospitalizations were down on Monday by two from the previous day, for a total of 225 hospitalizations.

The number of people in the ICU also dropped by two, bringing that total to 48 on Monday...

MONTREAL -- Quebec is reporting 545 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday and six new deaths due to the virus as hospitalizations dropped again in the last 24 hours.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus is now 11,528 since the start of the pandemic.

The majority of the new cases reported Tuesday were from people who weren't vaccinated, according to provincial data. Of the 545 cases, 339 (62 per cent) were from people who weren't fully vaccinated, while 206 (37 per cent) were from people who got their second jab more than a week earlier.

Hospitalizations overall dropped by six in the past day after 14 people were admitted to hospital and 20 people were discharged. This bring the total number of hospitalizations down to 219.

Seven people admitted to hospital were not vaccinated, while seven had their second dose more than seven day ago.

The number of people in the ICU also dropped to 45, a decrease of three from the day before.

Quebec's public health institute reports 5,219 active cases across the province, a decrease of 34 from Monday...

To date, the province has recorded 432,275 infections and 415,199 recoveries bringing the number of active cases to 5,543.

An additional four people have died from complications linked to the virus bringing the death toll in the province to 11,533.

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported Saturday that 715 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 with 488 of those not fully vaccinated.

The health ministry said 462 of those people were unvaccinated, 26 received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks ago, and 227 received both doses more than seven days prior...

... The province added six more deaths due to the disease, and hospitalizations decreased by seven, dropping the total number to 198.

Of the 15 new patients who checked in for treatment in the province's hospitals, 12 were unvaccinated and three were double-vaxxed more than seven days prior to checking in. Twenty-two patients were discharged from hospital.

Quebec is reporting 509 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday and one more death linked to the virus as several restrictions are being loosened across the province.

High school students are getting a reprieve and are no longer being required to wear a mask while in the classroom. Mask wearing, however, remains mandatory in common areas.

The ban on dancing and karaoke is also being lifted on Monday.

To date, the province has recorded 434,849 infections and 417,519 recoveries bringing the number of active cases to 5,784.

MONTREAL -- Quebec added 720 new COVID-19 cases Thursday as the province logs an increase in overall hospitalizations.

There are now 205 people in hospital with coronavirus symptoms after 20 people arrived and 10 stopped receiving care since Wednesday morning.

Of that total, 46 are in the ICU, an overall decrease of one.

Two more people have been reported dead, bringing that total to 11,550...

... Public health is monitoring 6,098 active infections within the province...
