The Ministry of Health confirmed this Saturday 19 more positive cases of coronavirus; thus, the total number of infected increases to 778. Also seven patients are hospitalized.

"We processed 452 samples, 19 were positive, 18 from abroad and one contact," wrote Health Minister Julio Mazzoleni on his Twitter account.

According to the report, there are seven hospitalized patients and five newly recovered, adding up to 198. The total number of confirmed cases amounts to 778.

In the event of high numbers of unfavorable cases, it is planned to return to the total quarantine to decrease the risk of spreading the virus.

Another worrying issue is the number of accident victims that remains despite the quarantine and that puts hospital capacity at risk, especially beds with respirators.

The Inter-institutional Coordination Center to Support the Ministry of Public Health announced today that 286 compatriots who were distributed in 11 shelters were discharged.

All failed the COVID-19 test and return to their homes. Some 1,566 compatriots of the 3,365 in total who entered failed the COVID-19 test.

The last to enter were: 20 people from Brazil, 36 from Argentina and 47 Paraguayans arrived from Colombia.

Paraguay announced a job retraining plan due to the impact of the coronavirus

Paraguay registers 41 new cases of Covid-19

Medical authorities report that in the next few days, diagnostic tests will be expanded to detect community transmission and asymptomatic cases.

The Paraguayan Ministry of Public Health (MSP) confirmed 41 new infections with Sars-Cov-2 on Tuesday, bringing the number of people infected with the virus to that South American nation to 829.

Julio Mazzoleni, head of that portfolio, reported that the number of new cases was determined from 692 samples analyzed in the laboratory. All come from abroad, are interned and assume the mandatory 14-day quarantine. A total of five patients are hospitalized.

Asunci?n, IP.- The Ministry of Public Health reported that this Thursday, May 21, three new positive cases of coronavirus were confirmed, thus reaching a total of 836 infected by the disease in the country. Thus, the recovered ones also increased to 256.

12 new cases of Covid-19 are validated in Paraguay in more than 900 tests

Paraguay advances in its lack of confidence with the reopening of shops

Over a thousand positive cases to Covid-19 in Paraguay

COVID-19: In total, Health confirms 1,070 cases of the virus in Paraguay

This Wednesday, the Ministry of Health reported that 975 samples have been processed, of which 57 tested positive for COVID-19, 39 from abroad and 10 by contact, 8 without connection, all in isolation. The total number of cases amounts to 1,070 confirmed in the Paraguayan territory.

The report of the Minister of Health, Dr. Julio Mazzoleni, indicates that there are currently 13 people hospitalized due to the coronavirus, 2 of them in intensive care. In his usual Twitter report, he also announced that there are 13 new recovered, thus adding 511 people who overcame the virus in the country.

Since the confirmation of the first case of COVID-19, 33,081 tests were carried out in the country. On May 25, the second phase of the smart quarantine began, which will last until June 15. Paraguay maintains control over COVID-19, only one thousand 86 cases

In the part of this Thursday it was specified that eight cases are imported, six by community contact and two without connection. All remain in isolation, according to the statement.

Regarding confirmed cases, the health authority detailed that 564 cases are still active and 511 people have recovered.

Out of 1,018 samples taken, a single positive case of Covid-19 was detected. However, Health urges citizens not to relax, after a disturbing week with what was seen on the street.

The Health Minister, Julio Mazzoleni, reported that of 1018 samples taken, only one positive case of coronavirus was detected by contact.

The samples taken were 92 percent in the community and 8 percent in shelters.

However, the Minister urged citizens not to let their guard down, as it ends a very disturbing week due to the increase in cases without a link, those infected in the community.

In addition to the lack of awareness of the citizens by not respecting social distancing and non-compliance with the measures imposed by the Government.
