According to a press release from the Ministry of Public Health, Niger recorded 22 new cases, which brings to 120 cases positive for Covid19, including 5 deaths, as of Friday April 3, 2020.
After Niamey the capital, which concentrates the majority of the cases, the Regions of Maradi and Dosso, it is around the Region of Zinder, in the south-center of the country, to also record its first case, according to the same source. .

The virological examinations of the samples of April 1, 2020, the results of which arrived today April 3, 2020 are as follows:
22 COVID-19 positive cases including:

Among these 22 cases, one (1) was diagnosed in Zinder -
Of these positive cases, there are 22 suspected cases, no Positive case among the confined and no positive among the control.
To date, 120 patients have been declared positive for COVID-19, including 115 in treatment and 5 deaths.
The health status of the patients treated is stable.
The government recalls that in the event of the appearance of fever, cough, cold, breathing difficulties in any person without distinction, five (5) measures are to be taken:
Avoid contact with those around you;
Wear your mask;
Avoid touching the mouth, eyes, nose;
Stay at home and call 15 free of charge
Avoid traveling.
