Pune Swine Flu update: Total number of cases goes up to 260

Two persons, including a four-year-old, fell critically ill with H1N1 in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad on Friday, taking the number of critically ill patients to four in Pune district. Two are being treated in Pune and the other two in Pimpri-Chinchwad. Eight more people tested positive for the virus. The total number of cases in Pune is around 260. However, health officials said there was no reason to panic and there wouldn’t be a repeat of the 2009 scenario.
