Dataganj: four days on two real sisters swept the measles. Dozens of children are suffering from this disease. Health Department team arrived on Saturday in the affected area and sick children admitted to a community health center.

Mhrajagnj (Bahraich), developing segment Mahsi and Tjwapur measles outbreak in various villages of the region is spreading rapidly. Incidence of measles has killed a child. More than half a dozen children still suffer from it. Despite notification by the Department of Health still has not provided medical assistance in these villages.

A patient named Priya age 7 years was admitted at CHC Sangrah on 27.08.2012 with history & Symptoms consistent with measles Rubella and also had developed complication like Pnemonia and CSOM. Blood Samples for serum Igm antibodies were collected from 15 case patients and send to NCDC Delhi All patients were given Vitamin A Solution and the dose shall be repeated after 24 hours with symptomatic treatment were given. All Children beolw the age of 12 years given additional dose of measles vacinnation Investigation Open Keeping a constant and active vigil on the situation, Presently situation is under control
