This Friday, Guadeloupe recorded no new confirmed case of coronavirus, whose account therefore remains at 143. Among these confirmed cases, 24 patients are hospitalized at the CHU of Guadeloupe. 15 are placed in intensive care. 9 are in medicine and still no patients at the Center hospitalier de Basse-Terre, and at the Center Hospitalier de Marie-Galante.

Since March 13, 8 deaths have been recorded.

Among these confirmed cases, 23 patients are hospitalized at the CHU of Guadeloupe. 14 are placed in intensive care. 9 are in medicine, no more patients at the Center hospitalier de Basse-Terre or at the Center Hospitalier de Marie-Galante.

The confirmed cases are mainly aged between 15 and 64 years (62%). The share of 75-year-old scas is increasing slightly and represents 17% of cases. There are more infected women than men.

Since March 13, 8 deaths have been recorded.

This Wednesday, April 15, 2020, a total of 68 people are declared cured by infectious diseases, one more than yesterday.

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has been stable for five days now, in Guadeloupe.
No new positive test has been identified in the region in the past 24 hours, according to the latest assessment published by the Regional Health Agency.
This brings to 145 the number of people affected by the virus, based on the cumulative data.

Among the patients tested positive for Covid-19:

17 are hospitalized at the CHU de Guadeloupe
13 are placed in intensive care
4 are in medical follow-up

Note that there are no more Covid patients at the Center hospitalier de Basse-Terre (CHBT), nor at the Center hospitalier de Marie-Galante (CHMG).

To date, 70 people have finished with the coronavirus and have been declared cured by infectiologists, in our archipelago.

80 women and 68 men were infected, the average age being 66 years.

The virus is still circulating
All these figures do not take into account consultations for respiratory infections by city doctors. These data are therefore to be put into perspective. The virus is still circulating. A 79-year-old woman lost her life. It is the twelfth death linked to coronavirus in Guadeloupe. In its daily update on the coronavirus epidemic, the state services announce a report of 152 cumulative cases confirmed by PCR test in the department.
