In the last 24 hours, 279 positive cases of COVID-19 and 4 deaths were registered, for a cumulative of 18,319 infected people and 520 deaths nationwide.

While 11,474 people were discharged, according to bulletin # 77 issued by the Ministry of Public Health this Thursday, June 4.

The case-fatality rate remains stable and today stands at 2.84%.

Regarding the suspected cases, the Ministry of Health reported that 69,737 cases have been discarded, using PCR tests, out of a total of 88,056 that have been carried out since the virus was detected in the country on March 1. In the last 24 hours 1,771 tests were performed.

Positive cases

Of the patients positive for respiratory infection, 2,093 are in hospital isolation, while 4,232 are in home isolation.

Of the hospitalized, 100 are in the Intensive Care Unit; 64.00% in centers of Greater Santo Domingo, 21.00% in Santiago and 7.00% in Duarte.

The new positive cases of COVID-19, released this Monday by the Ministry of Public Health, are 693 and seven died, numbers that increase those confirmed to 27,370 and the total number of deaths to 669 throughout the country.

The bulletin 95 indicates that the PCR tests that were carried out yesterday to detect the coronavirus were 2,907, which amount to 128,775, which have been carried out since the first case of the virus was released in the country.

The Minister of Public Health, Rafael S?nchez Cardenas, also announced that 817 positives are hospitalized, representing the total occupation of beds by 53.4 percent.

175 people remain in intensive care units, of whom 70 are ventilated, occupying 51 percent of the 341 beds available for serious cases.

According to the report, the case fatality rate is 2.44 and the positivity 19.89 percent, the latter being the percentage number for the last four weeks, not one day.

The number of people recovered from the coronavirus to this day is 15,338. Yesterday 899 new cases of coronavirus were released, which for the moment is the last record of people detected with COVID-19.

Santo Domingo, Jun 23 (Prensa Latina) The Dominican Republic reached today the figure of 27 thousand 936 cases of Covid-19, after 566 infected people were diagnosed in the last 24 hours, in addition to the number of deaths rose to 675 when six others were reported .

According to data provided by the Minister of Health, Rafael S?nchez, the average age of those confirmed is 39 years and 53.99 percent are male, in addition 15 thousand 551 people were recovered and 102 thousand 809 discarded.

Regarding the deceased, the average age was 65 years, the majority were men and as a history they had long-standing chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

28,631 confirmed with coronavirus in DR; 695 are new cases

The coronavirus has affected 28,631 people in the Dominican Republic. 695 tested positive in the last hours.

Bulletin 97 of the Ministry of Public Health details that the dead rose to 691, with 16 new deaths.

In the last 96 days 133,718 PCR tests have been taken, of which 2,973 were on Tuesday.
