The Ministry of Public Health indicated that there are 17,752 confirmed cases of coronavirus with 180 confirmed cases.

The median age of those infected is 40 years. 54.70 percent are men and 79.02 percent of the cases are concentrated in 12 municipalities.

The 74th bulletin of the Ministry of Public Health indicated that the confirmed cases amounted to 17,572, of which 287 were newly infected.

While the dead remained at 502.

Yesterday, Monday, June 1, it was three months since Public Health confirmed the first imported case of coronavirus in Paris.

In the last 24 hours, 279 positive cases of COVID-19 and 4 deaths were registered, for a cumulative of 18,319 infected people and 520 deaths nationwide.

While 11,474 people were discharged, according to bulletin # 77 issued by the Ministry of Public Health this Thursday, June 4.

The case-fatality rate remains stable and today stands at 2.84%.

Regarding the suspected cases, the Ministry of Health reported that 69,737 cases have been discarded, using PCR tests, out of a total of 88,056 that have been carried out since the virus was detected in the country on March 1. In the last 24 hours 1,771 tests were performed.

Positive cases

Of the patients positive for respiratory infection, 2,093 are in hospital isolation, while 4,232 are in home isolation.

Of the hospitalized, 100 are in the Intensive Care Unit; 64.00% in centers of Greater Santo Domingo, 21.00% in Santiago and 7.00% in Duarte.

Most of the cases confirmed by coronavirus are distributed in five provinces, with Santo Domingo being the most affected district with a cumulative of 4,922 cases (114 new in the last 24 hours), followed by the National District that registers 4,663 cases (51 new) , Santiago with 1,505 (5 new), San Crist?bal with 1,087 (24 new), and La Vega with 923 (0 new).

In the last 4 weeks, the positivity in the processed samples is 17.09%.

Of the total confirmed cases, 54.60% (10,003) correspond to men, and the median age at the national level is 40 years.

Deaths

In the last 24 hours, there were 4 deaths from coronavirus, 2 in Santo Domingo, 1 in La Vega and 1 in the National District.

The Dominican Republic passed Wednesday the 100,000 PCR tests to detect coronaviruses, when 1,935 new samples were taken in the last 24 hours, for a cumulative of 100,035.

The data is contained in epidemiological bulletin # 83 issued this Wednesday, June 10 by the Ministry of Public Health, which stands at 20,808 positive cases nationwide, 393 in the last 24 hours, and 550 deaths.

While 12,318 people were discharged after passing COVID-19.

Yesterday there were 6 new deaths. The case fatality rate continues to decline and today stands at 2.64%.

Regarding the suspected cases, the Ministry of Health reported that 79,227 cases have been discarded, using PCR tests that have been carried out since it detected the virus in the country on March 1.

EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO.- 91 people have died from COVID-19 in the Dominican Republic in the last 10 days, according to reports by the Minister of Public Health.

This figure is equivalent to 14.6% of the total deaths, which until this Friday amounts to 647. In addition, it represents an average of almost ten deaths per day.

The Ministry of Public Health, Rafael S?nchez C?rdenas, reported this Friday that, to date, the country registers 25,068 infections and 647 deaths from the disease.

Among the infected, 781 patients are hospitalized, which means that 51% of the beds available for COVID-19 are occupied, according to the minister.

The case fatality rate is 2.58%, while the positivity rate is 18.83%.

The new positive cases of COVID-19, released this Monday by the Ministry of Public Health, are 693 and seven died, numbers that increase those confirmed to 27,370 and the total number of deaths to 669 throughout the country.

The bulletin 95 indicates that the PCR tests that were carried out yesterday to detect the coronavirus were 2,907, which amount to 128,775, which have been carried out since the first case of the virus was released in the country.

The Minister of Public Health, Rafael S?nchez Cardenas, also announced that 817 positives are hospitalized, representing the total occupation of beds by 53.4 percent.

175 people remain in intensive care units, of whom 70 are ventilated, occupying 51 percent of the 341 beds available for serious cases.

According to the report, the case fatality rate is 2.44 and the positivity 19.89 percent, the latter being the percentage number for the last four weeks, not one day.

The number of people recovered from the coronavirus to this day is 15,338. Yesterday 899 new cases of coronavirus were released, which for the moment is the last record of people detected with COVID-19.

In reading the bulletin, in which it was not allowed to ask questions, according to S?nchez C?rdenas, due to technical problems, the hospitalized Santo Domingo has 414, with 83 in intensive care units and 43 with artificial ventilation.

Santiago has 250 admitted patients and they occupy 54% of the available beds, which are 471. Santo Domingo and Santiago are the two provinces with the highest occupancy rates, the minister said.

He added that they began an investigation of the beds available in the intensive care units to make monitoring more efficient and that interventions in sectors of Santo Domingo will be continued, with home visits.

In those homes that do not have the conditions to have the positives, they will be transferred to other established places, he assured.

Santo Domingo, Jun 23 (Prensa Latina) The Dominican Republic reached today the figure of 27 thousand 936 cases of Covid-19, after 566 infected people were diagnosed in the last 24 hours, in addition to the number of deaths rose to 675 when six others were reported .

According to data provided by the Minister of Health, Rafael S?nchez, the average age of those confirmed is 39 years and 53.99 percent are male, in addition 15 thousand 551 people were recovered and 102 thousand 809 discarded.

Regarding the deceased, the average age was 65 years, the majority were men and as a history they had long-standing chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

The provinces with the highest number of infections are Santo Domingo (8,285), the National District (7,20), Santiago (936) and San Crist?bal (723).

Lastly, the minister reported that 835 people are admitted to hospitals with the virus, representing 54.7 percent of hospitalizations in the country.

Likewise, it revealed that the most complex situation is in Santo Domingo where 71 percent of the beds to serve the Covid-19 are occupied, as well as 60 percent of the capacities in the Intensive Care Units

28,631 confirmed with coronavirus in DR; 695 are new cases

The coronavirus has affected 28,631 people in the Dominican Republic. 695 tested positive in the last hours.

Bulletin 97 of the Ministry of Public Health details that the dead rose to 691, with 16 new deaths.

In the last 96 days 133,718 PCR tests have been taken, of which 2,973 were on Tuesday.

Likewise, 105,087 have been discarded evidence. With a positivity rate in the last four weeks of 20.58 percent.

Recovered are 16,006 and active cases 11,934.

Of the assets, 2,839 are in hospital isolation and 9,095 in home isolation.

The median age is 39 years. 53.90 percent are men and 75.67 percent of the cases are concentrated in 12 municipalities.

In total, there are 226 Covid-19 positive health workers, of whom 65.93 percent are female.
