The Ministry of Health confirmed 215 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia. With this update, the number of deaths in the country amounts to 6,029.

This Thursday, July 16, the health authority also reports 8,037 new infections in the last 24 hours, after 25,359 tests were processed throughout the country. It is worth mentioning that, since the first case (confirmed on March 6), 1,113,507 samples have been processed in the country.

Thus, the country reaches 173,206 confirmed coronavirus cases. To date, Bogot? is the city with the most cases. With the report of this Thursday, the capital reaches the figure of 56,830 infections.

This report from the Ministry of Health also indicates that, in the last 24 hours, 4,428 recovered patients were confirmed. Thus, there are 76,164 patients who, to date, have passed covid-19 in Colombia.

According to the most recent report from the Ministry of Health, there are 220 deaths from covid-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, in Colombia.

Thus, the country already accumulates a total of 6,736 deaths.

As for infections, 6,578 new cases were registered, after processing 24,079 tests, which means that in the national territory, 197,278 infections have been confirmed since March.

Of that total, 91,793 people have already been recovered, 98,355 being the number of current active infections.

Bogot? is the city with the highest number of cases, with 63,265. Behind the country's capital are Atl?ntico (43,813), Valle del Cauca (17,457), Antioquia (15,647) and Bol?var (14,972).

With the data provided on July 19, Antioquia overtook Bol?var and placed third on the list of most infected.

After processing 27,131 samples, in the last 24 hours 7,033 new cases of Covid-19 were identified for a total of 211,038 throughout the country, with 104,624 active cases.

The Ministry of Health, together with the National Institute of Health, confirmed that with the 3,036 patients recovered today, Colombia reached the figure of 98,840 people who overcame the disease.

Likewise, 237 deaths were registered today, for a total of 7,166 in all of Colombia. In total, 1,263,700 samples have been processed in the country.

New measures in the quarantine in Bogot?

The Mayor's Office of Bogot? developed a plan with the National Government to reorganize the quarantine calendar by localities in the city and adjust the measures to slow the advance of the coronavirus. Seeking to avoid total isolation, which for now is ruled out.

266 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Santander, the highest number in a single day
