Coronavirus figure in Colombia exceeds 1,000 cases in 24 hours
The announcement was made this Tuesday by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
The Ministry of Health announced this Tuesday 1,022 new cases of contagion in Colombia of the covid-19, for a total of 23,003. In addition, it reported 26 new deaths, reaching 776.
The 1,022 new cases are distributed as follows: Bogot? (357), Valle (183), Barranquilla (93), Atl?ntico (73), Antioquia (72), Cartagena (71), Cundinamarca (49), Amazonas (29) , Santa Marta (15), Nari?o (13), Tolima (13), Choc? (12), Magdalena (9), La Guajira (5), Cesar (5), Huila (4), Boyac? (4), Cauca ( 3), Meta (3), Caldas (2), Caquet? (2), Bol?var (2), Norte de Santander (2) and C?rdoba (1).
Regarding the 26 new deceased, the Ministry of Health indicated that this is an 82-year-old woman in Bogot? with cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) problems; 72-year-old woman in Cali with hypertension; 75-year-old woman in Cartagena with hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes; 69-year-old man in Soledad, Atl?ntico who suffered from kidney disease; 77-year-old man in Cali who had hyperactive delirium, depression, alcoholism, fracture of the humerus, smoking; 74-year-old man in Cali with diabetes and epoc; 35-year-old man in Cartagena without comorbidities; 59-year-old man in Bogot? with comorbidities under study; 90-year-old woman in Cartagena with cardiovascular disease and diabetes; 57-year-old woman in Leticia with hypertension and diabetes; 55-year-old man in Buenaventura with tobacco problems; 77-year-old woman in Cali who had cerebrovascular disease and diabetes and 69-year-old woman in Cartagena with comorbidities under study.
Among the other deaths reported by the entity is a 77-year-old man in Cartagena with comorbidities under study; 85-year-old woman in Tumaco, also with study comorbidities; 66-year-old man in Cartagena who suffered from asthma; 34-year-old woman in Bogot? who had diabetes; 59-year-old man in Bogot? with kidney disease; 57-year-old man in Barranquilla with hypertension and HIV; 62-year-old man in Barranquilla with cardiovascular disease, kidney disease; 57-year-old man in Guateque, Boyac?, with hypertension and diabetes; 68-year-old man in Ci?naga with hypertension and diabetes; 50-year-old woman in Cali with diabetes, hypothyroidism, obesity, and smoking; 74-year-old woman in Monter?a with hypertension, pemphigus, malnutrition, epoc; 88-year-old man in Bogot? with epoc, diabetes, hypertension, acute neurovascular event and a 61-year-old woman in Bogot? with hypertension and obesity.
The Ministry of Health also announced that 5,511 people in Colombia have recovered from covid-19. In addition, he noted that today 10,306 tests were processed.
