General Hospital and Post Graduate Institute (IGGGH&PGI) reported Three confirmed cases of Cholera from Mudaliarpet area of Puducherry. 1. Madhuraivelu, 60 Yrs, Male 2. Keerthana, 13 Yrs, Female 3. Valli, 40 Yrs, Female The Concerned area PHC were alerted through an official letter by the Deputy Director (PH) cum State Nodal Officer IDSP to arrange remedial measures like chlorination of drinking water in order to avoid the outbreak of Cholera and other water-born diseases and periodical cleaning of streets etc. Accordingly, Chlorination of drinking water is being done. At present there are no fresh cases of Cholera in the area reported. Three Cases Positive. RRT is taking all necessary steps to diagnosis any fresh cases and also taking all corrective measures including chlorination of OHT, etc. Investigation Closed Department of Health IDSP are taking all steps to curtail any outbreak.
