The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services has confirmed one case of Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) in Montana involving a child under age 10 from Yellowstone County.
The child remained hospitalized on Wednesday and the department continues to investigate additional suspected Yellowstone County cases where people sough treatment.
While there are no additional cases at this time, state health officials said expect requests for additional testing as it continues to investigate suspected cases. For many people, infections will be mild and most people will not seek treatment. Consequently, for them no testing will be performed...
