Geographic surveillance includes&nbsp;<b>America,</b>&nbsp;<b>Africa, Asia </b>and<b> Russia.&nbsp;</b>Although&nbsp;<b><span style="color: #632423; font-family: &quot;Trebuchet MS&quot;;">pH1N1</span></b>&nbsp;in most locales during the&nbsp;2012-2013 season was the <b><span style="color: #783f04;">minority</span></b> serotype, the sequences in this Analytic Report describe a high level of human-infective diversity and an ease of avian genetic acquisition, including multiple instances demonstrating concentrated transport of <b><span style="color: #660000;">High-CFR</span></b>&nbsp;<b><span style="color: #632423; font-family: &quot;Trebuchet MS&quot;;">pH1N1&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #783f04;">Upsilon</span></b> polymorphisms onto single sequences.

      The sequences in this Analytic Report describe a high level of genetic activity at the <b><span style="color: #274e13;">Hemagglutinin</span></b> <b><span style="color: #660000;">antigenic area</span></b> between <b><span style="color: blue;">aa155</span></b> and <b><span style="color: blue;">aa158</span></b> with <b>5</b> amino variations and <b>4</b> silent revisions. &nbsp; <b><span style="color: #274e13;">HA</span></b> <b><span style="color: blue;">225G</span></b> is present in <b><span style="color: #660000;">quasi-species</span></b> on <b>2</b>&nbsp;American samples and as dominant form in <b>2</b> tropical countries. The <b>Dominican Republic</b> <b><span style="color: #274e13;">HA</span></b> <b><span style="color: blue;">225G</span></b>&nbsp;<b><span style="color: #660000;">Low Reactor</span></b> appears on a <b><span style="color: #7f6000;">TamiFlu Resistant</span></b> strain. &nbsp;<b><span style="color: #7f6000;">Drug Resistance</span></b> is also found in <b>2</b> US sequences and <b>1</b> South American case.

        On Saturday, doctors at Charlton Methodist Hospital diagnosed Alice with influenza.

        ?It was strains A and B,? Jones said. ?Sunday evening, she started breathing hard."

        By Monday morning, feeling worse, Alice ended up at University General Hospital on South Hampton Road, her husband said.

        As a technician took Alice to undergo a CT scan, "she coded," Darrell said.

        Hours later, the 29-year-old woman, who had no underlying medical conditions, was dead.

        Darrell said he didn?t think his wife got a flu shot last fall...

          ...Two children are among the 19 flu-related deaths in North Texas this season. One of them was 13-year-old Lynda Kizziar who passed away Saturday at Children's Medical Center in Plano. She lived in Carrollton but was a seventh grader at Founders Classical Academy in Lewisville...

                        The onset of flu season was late in Wise County, but the virus has already infected large numbers and appears to be responsible for the death of one man.

                        ?We?ve had one death, a gentleman in his early 40s who appeared to have died from flu-like symptoms,? said Lee Ann Cummings, registered nurse and emergency room director of Wise Regional Health System in Decatur.

                          3 Flu-Related Deaths in San Patricio County

                          CORPUS CHRISTI - San Patricio County Health Authority Dr. Mobley confirms three people have died as a result of the flu in his area. As a result of these cases and the increase in cases across the stat, officials are working on a mass immunization clinic.

                          Dr. Mobley can only tell us limited information on the patients for confidentiality reasons.

                          The first is a 2-year-old child who died on December 20th. The other deaths were an adult male and an adult female.
