I am not sure which of these could be dupes. I found these names listed in various articles on Azerbaijan infections of birdflu.. One article said that more than 100 people had taken themselves to the hospital. I don't know if fear made them more aware of symptoms they might have thought were birdflu related or if they took kids they thought had been in close proximity with birds. I'm cross-eyed with this stuff. Anyone else is welcome to have a go at it.

Two of the cases were from the south-eastern rayon of Salyan, but resided in different settlements. The cases occurred in a 17-year-old girl, from Sarvan settlement, who died on 23 February, and a 20-year-old woman, from Daikyand settlement, who died on 3 March. Poultry deaths have been observed in the settlements in recent weeks, but the cause of death has not yet been determined.
The third case occurred in a 21-year-old woman from the central-western province of Tarter. She died on 9 March.

The World Health Organization is sending more experts to Azerbaijan after three people there tested positive for an H5 flu virus.
Lab technicians who tested samples from the three were unable to type the neuraminidase -- or N -- of the virus, although it is expected it will turn out to be H5N1 avian flu, WHO spokesman Dick Thompson said from Geneva.
Specimens will be sent, probably on Wednesday, to a WHO collaborating laboratory for further testing, he added.
The three confirmed cases have died. Test results are pending on specimens from two other people who also died, Thompson said
Thompson also confirmed that other people are under investigation as possible cases. In the mix are several possible cases clustered in families. WHO is constantly on the lookout for clusters of cases, as they may be a sign of human-to-human spread of the virus.
"It's going to take some time to sort them out," he said of the suspect cases.
There are no signs, however, that health-care workers have fallen ill. If the virus had altered in ways that made it more easily transmitted from person to person, illness among hospital personnel who cared for the sick might be one of the first signals of that change.
The WHO already has two people in Azerbaijan and is sending more to help.
"We're sending at least an epidemiologist and a clinician," Thompson said. "They're joining two people on the ground. There may be more coming."
If the WHO collaborating lab confirms these were cases of H5N1, Azerbaijan will become the eight country in the world to report human cases of the virus since the current outbreak began in late 2003. Other countries which have reported human cases are Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, China, Turkey and Iraq.
These cases would also bring the official death toll of the outbreak to more than 100. As of Tuesday, the WHO count was 177 confirmed cases and 98 deaths.
