The cases of classic dengue and hemorrhagic show a spike in just 35 days a year.
According to the data handled by the Ministry of Health in epidemiological week 4 in the country recorded 1.406 cases of dengue fever.
This represents an increase of 57 percent from the same epidemiological week of 2009.The capital city continues to rank first with 667 cases of classic.
As relates to dengue hemorrhagic fever are reported eight cases of these six persons are residing in the Central District.
It confirms one death from dengue hemorrhagic fever. The name originated and where the victim was not revealed.
