SANTA FE ? The New Mexico Department of Health reported Wednesday that four infants, including one from Do?a Ana County, have been hospitalized for pertussis, popularly known as whooping cough, in the past month.
The infants, each under 4 months old, were also from Sandoval and Valencia counties, state health officials said, adding that there have been no pertussis-related infant deaths in New Mexico since 2005...
...In all four of the infants' households, not all their caregivers had received the Tdap vaccine, which put the children at risk, officials said...
