Poultry prices witnessed stability in the markets, as the consumer recorded 75 pounds per kilo, and the Poultry Division revealed that the price of white chickens for farm land delivery is still stable at 65 pounds per kilo, and the consumer reaches 75 pounds in the markets, and this price may vary according to the region, while demand decreased In a limited way after the end of Ramadan .
For his part, Sameh Al-Sayed, head of the division, said that the price of the sasso records the delivery of the farm at 67 pounds, and the price of the white chick ranged between 7-8, the sasso chick 6-7, and the white mother chicks 56 pounds .
The price of white eggs in the farm recorded 96 pounds, with an increase in the supply of eggs partially, while the price of a carton of red eggs reached 100 pounds, and local eggs reached 106 pounds when farm land is delivered, while 10 to 15 pounds are added to consumers .
The Poultry Division stressed the need to activate the main poultry stock exchange in Qalyubia, the first proposal that can contribute to controlling the market, as this will lead to determining the fair price per kilo based on the actual cost and according to supply and demand in the market, so that prices are suitable for producers and consumers .
