He had recently returned from a business trip to Sierra Leone and is now in isolation. tested negative Tests carried out at Madrid's Carlos III hospital indicated the man may be suffering from malaria. His condition has been described as stable.

          Uganda: 18 August - Authorities at Entebbe Airport have placed an unidentified woman traveling from Nigeria under isolation, after she developed signs of Ebola virus disease. Tested Negative, she has Malaria. Tests done at the Uganda Virus Research Institute.

            Germany, Berlin: 19 August - A 30-year-old West African woman has been taken to Berlin's Virchow hospital after she showed symptoms of Ebola. Quarantined. Tested Negative, she has Malaria

              Togo, Lome: 19 August - A Filipino arrived, last Thursday, in Lome on board of a boat from Liberia. He is admitted to the University Hospital campus of Lome, His illness has worsened since Sunday. Samples have been sent abroad for testing. Test Pending

                D.R.Congo, Equateur: 20 August - A team of experts is sent to the remote northern Equateur province after several people died there from a disease with Ebola-like symptoms. An Equateur resident said that around ten people had died, including four health care workers, after suffering from fever, diarrhoea and bleeding from the ears and nostrils.                 Myanmar, Yangon: 20 August - A 22-year-old man, who worked in Guinea and Liberia in West Africa, was found during a screening of passengers at the Yangon International Airport Tuesday.                 Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City : 20 August - Two Nigerian passengers showing symptom of fever has been isolated at a ward of the Tropical Hospital and had their blood samples taken for further testing. Test Pending After 24 hours of monitoring, the two patients were without fever, showing no abnormal signs or symptoms related to Ebola. The two men will be put under "community surveillance" for three weeks.

                        India, New Dehli: 27 August - India has found one Ebola virus carrying suspect and quarantined five others Tuesday night, said health officials Wednesday.                               Ethiopia: 12 oct 2014 - One west African origin diplomat has been admitted for flu like symptoms in Saint Yared General Hospital. Three more people have been also admitted to the black lion hospital, with a reported cases of bleeding and fever. Health Official: EBOLA denied.
