    Tunisia reported four new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours, including three local contaminations, the health ministry revealed on Monday.

    According to the same source, the global toll shows 1,565 confirmed cases, including 51 deaths, 1,225 recoveries and 289 cases still carrying the virus.

    Since the outbreak of the epidemic on March 2 in Tunisia, 96,537 screening tests have been carried out, including 249 in the last 24 hours.

    In light of the beginnings of a possible reappearance of the epidemic, with a wave of repatriation and that of the return of the community established abroad, the Tunisian authorities claim to tighten its preventive strategy against COVID-19.

    In this sense, the general secretary of the union of ground staff of the Tunisair airline, Nejmeddine Mzoughi, called on Monday in a statement for the temporary closure of Tunis-Carthage airport (northern suburb of Tunis) for disinfection.

      Tunisie-Tribune (Assessment of the Covid-19 in Tunisia) - The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that on August 3, 2020, 19 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus were recorded, including 11 local ones bearing, thus, the number of contaminations to 1584.

      In its daily bulletin on the epidemic situation in Tunisia, the ministry specified that out of the 708 analyzes carried out, including 5 in the framework of the follow-up of former patients, 23 cases were tested positive including 19 new cases (11 local, 8 imported and 4 old cases still carrying the virus).

      According to the ministry, the number of people recovered stands at 1,227 patients and that of patients who died at 51 while 306 cases still carry the virus, including 9 hospitalized.

          41 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded (34 incoming cases and seven local contaminations) out of 1,475 medical analyzes, up to August 5, 2020, announced the Ministry of Health in a press release made public this Thursday, August 6.
          Thus, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases is now at 1,642 out of a total of 100,298 screening analyzes carried out since the appearance of the first Covid-19 case in Tunisia last March.

          51 deaths were also recorded according to the department: 5 in Sfax, 8 in Sousse, 5 in Ariana, 1 in Kef, 2 in Mahdia, 1 in Tataouine, 1 in Bizerte, 10 in Tunis, 5 in Médenine, 5 in Manouba, 1 in Sidi Bouzid, 1 in Nabeul, 4 in Ben Arous, 1 in Gafsa and 1 in Kébili.

          The Ministry of Health has also specified that 350 people are still carriers of the virus, including ten hospitalized. the remaining 340 patients are placed in compulsory containment centers. The number of recoveries thus stands at 1,241.

              Tunisia has signed 22 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, the Tunisian health ministry announced on Saturday.

                The number of local infections with the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19) continues to increase in Tunisia. According to the latest epidemiological report from the Ministry of Health, arrested Saturday, August 8, 2020, 19 new contaminations were recorded, including 12 local cases and 7 incoming cases, out of 1283 medical analyzes carried out on the same day.

                  The Ministry of Health announced that as of August 9, 2020, 20 new cases of Covid-19 including 17 local cases عدوى محلية recorded in Sousse, Kairouan, and Gabés, among the 650 analyzes carried out in laboratories, bearing the total positive cases to date to 1717 cases out of a total of 105356 analyzes performed.
