THREE new positive cases of Coronavirus from Tunisians repatriated from abroad

The Ministry of Health announced that as of May 28, 3 new cases of Covid-19 registered in Tunisia among the 429 analyzes performed in laboratories, keeping the total of positive cases to date 1071 cases out of a total than 50,380 analyzes performed.

The ministry said that among the analyzes carried out, 11 former confirmed cases were reconfirmed "positive".

These 1071 cases are distributed among the 24 governorates, of which 6 governorates are now free from any contamination (Zaghouan - Jendouba - Le Kef - Siliana - Mahdia - Tozeur):

The Ministry of Health announced that as of May 29, 5 new cases of Covid-19 registered in Tunisia among the 791 analyzes performed in laboratories, keeping the total number of positive cases to date 1076 cases out of a total of 51,171 analyzes performed.

The ministry specified that among the analyzes carried out, 6 former confirmed cases were reconfirmed "positive".

The Ministry of Health announced that as of May 31, 7 new cases of Covid-19 registered in Tunisia among the 622 analyzes performed in laboratories, from Tunisians repatriated from abroad, bringing the total of cases positive to date 1084 cases out of a total of 52503 analyzes performed.

Tunisia - COVID-19: A new imported and 50 active cases

The Ministry of Health announced in a statement released on Saturday that out of a total of 1,497 samples taken on June 12, 2020, including 14 from active cases, 7 people tested positive for coronavirus. This is one (01) new case imported among Tunisian returnees and placed in compulsory confinement and six other cases already active.

Thus the balance goes to 1094 confirmed cases out of a total of 58,770 analyzes carried out since the start of the pandemic last March.

995 people recovered. 50 patients are still carriers of the virus and are still under observation.

49 people died from COVID-19 in Tunisia.

Covid19: 14 new contaminations including one local

14 new cases of contamination were recorded, including local contamination (source of contamination: an old confirmed case). The remaining thirteen are returnees resident in compulsory containment centers.

In a press release published on Monday, the health ministry said that 985 analyzes were carried out on June 14, 2020, including an analysis as part of the monitoring of old infections.

The number of contaminations therefore rose to 1,110 confirmed cases out of a total of 60,872 analyzes carried out since the start of the pandemic last March.

The number of people cured is 999. 62 patients are still carriers of the virus and are still under observation. A total of 49 people have died from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic in Tunisia.

Tunisia - Coronavirus: 15 new confirmed cases, all imported

In its daily report, the Ministry of Health announced that it had registered 15 new cases of contamination by the coronavirus as of June 15.

The ministry specifies that these cases, all imported, were discovered following the realization of 558 screening tests. The total number of infections thus passes to 1,125 confirmed cases, including 1,002 cures, 49 dead, and 74 cases still carrying the virus, of which only one admitted to hospital.

Did the authorities prematurely announce the victory against the coronavirus? After several days without new contamination, Tunisia has recently recorded several cases, especially imported, which risks causing new chains of local contamination.

The member of the national coronavirus control commission, Jalila Ben khelil stressed, in this sense, that the two cases of local contamination by the coronavirus recorded in less than 4 days are the result of citizens' non-compliance with the measures prevention, namely the wearing of masks, social distancing and hand washing.

The Tunisian Ministry of Health reported on Monday three new imported cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,172, including 50 deaths.

Detected near nationals, recently repatriated and now in a compulsory quarantine center, the three new cases of contamination have been identified in the two provinces of Jendouba (north-west) and Kasserine (center-west).

The ministry of health announced, in a statement published Friday, that dated July 2, 2020, on a total of 620 analyzes carried out including 25 within the framework of the follow-up of the active cases, 13 tests were positive.

These are 03 new cases imported among Tunisian returnees and placed in compulsory confinement (02 in Sousse and 01 in Mahdia) and 10 cases already active.

The assessment thus goes to 1181 confirmed cases out of a total of 71,198 analyzes carried out since the start of the pandemic last March.

1,045 people have recovered and 86 patients are still carriers of the virus and are still under observation, including one hospitalized person.

The number of deaths remains unchanged with 50 deaths.

The Tunisian epidemiological assessment is back on the rise with 11 new cases imported from COVID-19, the Tunisian Ministry of Health announced on Monday.

In an official statement, the same source confirmed that all new imported cases were now admitted to mandatory quarantine centers.

They come from four provinces, namely Sfax (center-east), Monastir (east), Kasserine (center-west) and Gafsa (south-west).

Indeed, Tunisia has a total of 1,199 confirmed cases, including 50 deaths, 1,049 cases of recovery while 100 patients still carried the virus.
