Health officials learned of the case on April 10 when the Georgia Department of Public Health told them a group of 25 people were exposed to measles on an international flight to Atlanta. The person who has measles is part of an international group program.

Health officials say they provided guidance about the group isolating to reduce the risk of spread, and most have immunity to the disease. BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - The Vermont Department of Health has confirmed another case of measles in Vermont.

State health officials say the infected individual was exposed to a person with measles in the area of Hanover, New Hampshire, in late June.

The person was a passenger on the northbound Dartmouth Coach bus that traveled from New York City to Hanover on Wednesday, July 3.

No other passengers are known to be Vermont residents, and there is no ongoing transmission risk from this case to other Vermonters.

This is the second confirmed case of measles in Vermont this year...
