Alabama (2), Arizona (81), Arkansas (10), California (721), Colorado (113), Connecticut (6), District of Columbia (3), Florida (13), Georgia (11), Idaho (18), Illinois (40), Indiana (9), Iowa (15), Kansas (47), Kentucky (1), Louisiana (111), Maryland (6), Massachusetts (5), Michigan (1), Minnesota (21), Mississippi (48), Missouri (13), Montana (5), Nebraska (136), Nevada (3), New Jersey (7), New Mexico (22), New York (19), North Dakota (22), Ohio (10), Oklahoma (17), Oregon (8), Pennsylvania (10), South Carolina (2), South Dakota (57), Tennessee (6), Texas (284), Utah (2), Virginia (6), Washington (12), Wisconsin (7) and Wyoming (5). One thousand one hundred and forty-nine cases (59.4%) were neuroinvasive. Seventy-one fatalities have been reported. Alabama (1), Arizona (9), Arkansas (1), California (23), Colorado (5), Florida (1), Georgia (1), Illinois (3), Louisiana (5), Mississippi (5), Missouri (2), Nebraska (4), New Mexico (1), New York (1), North Dakota (1), Ohio (1), Pennsylvania (1), Texas (4), Virginia (1) and Wisconsin (1).

Three hundred and twenty-one Presumptive Viremic Blood Donors have been reported in thirty states. ?Presumptive viremic blood donors (PVDs)are people who had no symptoms at the time of donating blood through a blood collection agency, but whose blood tested positive when screened for the presence of West Nile virus. Some PVDs develop symptoms after donation.
