5/2 22:35 entry Seven other schools and a children's camp in Washington have closed as a precaution against the spread of swine flu. Two teens from one of the schools are in intensive care, suspected of contracting H1N1.Two teens are in serious but stable condition at Madigan Army Medical Center. The other teen was released. However,
tests confirmed late Friday afternoon that the two hospitalized students do not have swine flu.
Superintendent Debbie LeBeau said the closure was a precaution. She will decide over the weekend whether Lakes will reopen Monday. "For me it makes sense to close the school for a day to prevent other students and staff from getting what could be the human swine flu," said LeBeau. "
As test results come back this weekend, I will make the decision whether the school will be open on Monday or remain closed." tks contributor Terrafirma
