There are two new cases of coronavirus in Uruguay and 155 people carry the disease
On the last day, 709 exams were carried out, of which 700 yielded a negative result.

The National Emergency System (Sinae) updated the data on COVID-19 in Uruguay. This Wednesday there were two new positive cases compared to Tuesday. Thus, the number of positive cases since the beginning of the outbreak rises to 719. On the other hand, the number of positive tests reached 852 (the difference between one figure and another is that there are people who were examined more than once).
On the last day, 709 exams were performed, of which 700 yielded a negative result, while nine were positive.
Of the cases confirmed since the start of the outbreak in March, 545 recovered and 155 are currently studying the disease. 19, meanwhile, died.
A total of eight people are in intensive care. There are 101 confirmed cases in the health personnel since March 13 (90 recovered, ten carrying the disease and one deceased).
Since the arrival of the disease in Uruguay, 30,209 tests have been performed, 29,357 were negative and 852 positive.
The departments in which there are active cases of coronavirus are 8: Canelones, Colonia, Maldonado, Montevideo, R?o Negro, Rivera, San Jos? and Treinta y Tres.
