494 positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Uruguay

Uruguay presents 549 cases of COVID-19

The latest survey of the National Emergency System (Sinae) reports that 549 cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus are registered in the country. Of the total, 337 recovered, 200 are carrying the disease and 12 died. This Wednesday, the 22nd, 609 analyzes were performed, with 601 negative and 8 positive results. Currently there are nine departments with confirmed cases and 14,532 tests have been processed.

To date, the country has recorded 549 cases of COVID-19, the report indicates. On this day, 609 tests were carried out, of which eight evidenced the presence of the virus.

Of the total cases, 337 have already recovered, 12 have died and 200 have the disease, of which 10 are in intensive care.

The departments with confirmed cases to date are: Canelones, Colonia, Durazno, Lavalleja, Maldonado, Montevideo, R?o Negro, Salto and San Jos?.

On March 13, the day the health emergency was declared, 14,532 tests were performed, with 13,911 negative and 621 positive results.
