The Secretary of the Presidency, ?lvaro Delgado, reported this Thursday night at a press conference that 557 positive cases of coronavirus have been registered to date, according to the latest situation report of the National Emergency System (Sinae). This represents eight more cases compared to Wednesday (when there were 549).

The number of positive COVID-19 tests since the start of the outbreak, meanwhile, amounts to 630 (the difference between one number and the other is that some people tested more than once).

This Thursday 610 diagnostic tests of COVID-19 were processed: 601 were negative and nine positive.

Since March 13, when the first cases of COVID-19 were announced in Uruguay, 15,142 tests were processed, with 14,512 negative results.

Of the confirmed cases, 354 people have already recovered, 191 are with the disease in progress (10 of them admitted to intensive care) and 12 died.

The number of health personnel infected since the beginning of the outbreak amounts to 92 (34 active and 58 recovered).

The departments in which cases are recorded are Montevideo, Canelones, Maldonado, R?o Negro, Lavalleja, Colonia, San Jos? and Salto.

To date, 563 positive cases of coronavirus have been registered, according to the latest situation report from the National Emergency System (Sinae). This represents six more cases compared to Thursday.

The number of positive COVID-19 tests since the start of the outbreak, meanwhile, amounts to 636 (the difference between one number and the other is that some people tested more than once).

This Friday 692 COVID-19 diagnostic tests were processed: 686 were negative and six were positive.

Since March 13, when the first cases of COVID-19 were announced in Uruguay, 15,834 tests were processed, 15,198 with negative results and 636 positive ones.

Of the confirmed cases, 369 people have already recovered, 182 are with the disease in progress (nine of them hospitalized in intensive care) and 12 died.

The number of health personnel infected since the beginning of the outbreak amounts to 93 (34 active and 59 recovered).

The departments in which cases are registered are Canelones, Colonia, Durazno, Lavalleja, Maldonado, Montevideo, R?o Negro, Salto and San Jos?.
Confirmed case in the El Monarca settlement

The Sinae report also refers to the case of coronavirus in the El Monarca settlement, located on the border between Montevideo and Canelones on Route 8.

"He is a boy who lives with his parents. They are in the house, they have not come out," the Minister of Social Development (Mides), Pablo Bartol, said earlier this Friday.

"All the people who were identified as 'contacts' were tested and so far there have been no other positive results," the Sinae report said on Friday.

The National Emergency System (Sinae) reported this Sunday that 46 tests were positive for coronavirus, after 662 tests and 616 negative results.

The agency reported that the high number of positive tests is due to an outbreak in a residential in Montevideo.

There are 31 confirmed positive cases in three residential homes for older adults (population at risk), where tests have already been performed and those infected have been protocolized.

Two new deaths were also confirmed: that of a 75-year-old man, hospitalized in Maldonado, and a 93-year-old woman, who was in a residential, where residents and officials were also tested, which in all cases were negative.

According to the report, there are 596 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Uruguay. Of this total, 370 have already recovered and 14 have died, while 93 correspond to health personnel (60 of them have already recovered and 33 are in the disease).

There are 212 active cases and nine patients are in intensive care.

The number of positive tests, meanwhile, reached 696 (the difference between one figure and another is that there are people who have been examined more than once).

On the last day, 442 exams were performed, of which 440 yielded a negative result, while 2 were positive.

Of the cases confirmed since the start of the outbreak in mid-March, 386 recovered and 219 are currently studying the disease. Another 15, meanwhile, died.

A total of 11 people are in intensive care. There are 95 confirmed cases in the health personnel (65 recovered and 30 studying the disease).

Since the arrival of the disease in Uruguay, 17,505 coronavirus examinations have been carried out, of which 16,809 have had a negative result, while 696 have had a positive result.

The National Emergency System (Sinae) released this Tuesday the situation report of the Covid-19 pandemic in Uruguay. According to these data, during that day 635 analyzes were carried out, with 629 negative and six positive results. Regarding the number of positive cases, since Monday five new cases were confirmed.

Thus, there are 625 confirmed positive cases of the disease. Of that total, 394 have already recovered and 216 are studying the disease. There are eleven people in intensive care and none in intermediate care.

Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 95 correspond to health personnel. 66 of them have already recovered and 29 are carrying the disease.

Since March 13, the day the health emergency was declared, 18,140 tests have been processed, with 17,438 negative and 702 positive results.

The departments with confirmed cases to date are: Canelones, Colonia, Durazno, Maldonado, Montevideo, R?o Negro, Salto, San Jos? and Treinta y Tres.

Situation in residential and settlements:

In addition to the epidemiologist report, Sinae reported that today there are three residential homes for older people who have confirmed cases of the disease. In one of them there are 37 infected people, in another six and in the remaining two.

The National Emergency System reported that 623 analyzes were processed, with 619 negative and 4 positive results.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 27,461 tests have been processed, of that total, 26,637 were negative and 824 positive.

To date, 702 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 513 have already recovered and 18 died.

Currently there are 171 active cases, that is, people who are studying the disease, 8 of them are in intensive care and none in intermediate care, reports the government.

An 85-year-old patient who lived in a nursing home in Montevideo died of Covid-19 coronavirus and now 19 people have died from this disease in Uruguay.

The National Emergency System updated the figures of the coronavirus COVID-19 in Uruguay on the afternoon of this Sunday. On the last day, 563 exams were performed, with 7 positive and 556 negative results.

The total of new cases in this report is 5, so since March 13, the date of arrival of the disease in the country, 707 cases have been registered.

Currently there are 171 people who are studying the disease and 517 have already recovered. 19 people have died of coronavirus in Uruguay.

Currently there are 8 people in intensive care and none in intermediate care. Of the total number of cases in Uruguay, 100 correspond to health personnel (89 of them have already recovered, 10 are carrying the disease and 1 have died.).

The National Emergency System (Sinae) updated the information about the outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19 in Uruguay. This Monday there were four new positive cases compared to Sunday. Thus, the number of positive cases since the beginning of the outbreak rises to 711. The number of positive tests, meanwhile, reached 836 (the difference between one figure and another is that there are people who were examined more than once).

On the last day 673 exams were performed, of which 668 yielded a negative result while 5 were positive.

Of the cases confirmed since the start of the outbreak in March, 523 were recovered and 169 are currently studying the disease. 19 people died.

This Tuesday night, the National Emergency System (Sinae) reported that Uruguay has registered 717 positive cases of COVID-19 since the coronavirus outbreak began, six more than yesterday.

Meanwhile, the number of positive tests reached 843 (the difference between one figure and another is that there are people who examined themselves more than once).

Of the cases confirmed since March 13, when the coronavirus began in Uruguay, 532 people recovered, 166 are currently studying the disease, and 19 people died.

On the last day, 803 examinations were carried out, of which 796 yielded a negative result, while seven were positive.

8 people are in intensive care. There are 101 confirmed cases in health personnel since the beginning of the outbreak (90 recovered, 10 carrying the disease and one died).

Since the arrival of the disease in Uruguay, 29,500 tests have been performed, 28,657 were negative and 843 positive.
