According to the Center of influenza and SARS State institution "Ukrainian center for disease control and monitoring of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" and Gossanepidsluzhby Ukraine for the period 11-17 January 2016 rokuna influenza and SARS ill 212 922 people, of which 53.9% are children under the age of 17 years. Index of influenza and SARS (total) among the population of Ukraine, compared with last week increased by 72.1% and is 54.7 per 10 thousand people.

The highest incidence of influenza and SARS registered in rovnenko - 104.9, the lowest in the Transcarpathian region - 21.6 per 10 thousand. Population.

The incidence of influenza and SARS exceeded epidemic thresholds in the Donetsk and Rivne regions ta16,5% to 68.0% respectively. In other regions the epidemic threshold range from -0.9% to -61.9 in Vinnytsia% in Ivano-Frankivsk.

There has been a sharp increase in the growth rate of 1.7 times among adults and 50.3% of children up to 17 years, especially among adults in Donetsk (2.5 times), Chernivtsi (2.3 times), Sumy and Rivne regions (2 times).

Compared to last week the proportion of hospitalized persons increased by 73.5% (abs.ch. 11,438), including 6,898 children under 17 years.

Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the State Sanitation, Ukraine informed about the disease epidemic influenza and SARS under the operational briefing, held on 19 January in the Ukrainian media crisis center.
Health Minister Alexander Kvitashvili Ukraine during a briefing on the epidemiological situation, reported that as of January 17, 2016 in Ukraine 51 confirmed fatal case of influenza due. Ukraine outbreak of H1N1 flu has caused 60 deaths
Recently, the outbreak of H1N1 influenza in Ukraine, according to statistics, as of now, the country has 60 black deaths from the H1N1 flu.
