وافق مجلس إدارة هيئة الخدمات البيطرية برئاسة الدكتور حامد سماحة رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية، على فرض رسم دخول 5 جنيهات على الجمل الواحد المستورد من السودان وجيبوتى، على أن يخصص نصف هذا الرسم لشراء لقاحات حمى الوادى المتصدع والنصف الآخر، لشراء مستلزمات خاصة بالتحصين وحافز للقائمين على عمليات التحصين. The Board of Directors of the Veterinary Services, headed by Dr. Hamid Samaha chief of veterinary services, to impose an entrance fee of 5 pounds per camel imported from the Sudan and Djibouti, to allocate half of the fee for the purchase of vaccines for Rift Valley fever and the other half, especially for the purchase of supplies and a catalyst for immunization based on immunization.

وأشارت المذكرة إلى أن مصر استوردت 44 ألفا و683 جملا من جيبونى و107 آلاف جمل من السودان خلال عام 2008. The memo pointed out that Egypt has imported 44 thousand and 683 camels and 107 Jibony of thousands of camels from the Sudan during 2008.

الجمال لا تصاب بمرض الحمى القلاعية

أعلن الدكتور حامد سماحة، رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية، أن المنظمة الدولية للصحة الحيوانية أخطرته فى مذكرة رسمية، أنها ستقوم برفع الجمال من قائمة الحيوانات المعرضة للإصابة بمرض الحمى القلاعية. وقال سماحة إنه تم الإفراج عن شحنة الجمال السودانية المحتجزة بمحجر شلاتين، والبالغ عددها 1270 جملا، بعد أن أثبتت التحاليل أنها خالية من الحمى القلاعية.

وأكد رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية، أنه سيتم استيراد الجمال السودانية دون توقيع أية فحوصات عليها، وقال إنه أبلغ وزير الثروة الحيوانية السودانى بهذا القرار فى اتصال هاتفى معه.

Dr. Hamed Samaha, chief of veterinary services, the International Organization for Animal Health notified him in an official note, it would lift the beauty of the list of animals susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease. Samaha said he was released on shipment of Sudanese camels Bmahgr Shalatin withheld, and the 1270 Board, after tests proved that they are free of foot-and-mouth.

The chief of veterinary services, will be the import of Sudanese camels without signing any checks, and said that he informed the Sudanese Minister of Animal Resources of this decision in a telephone conversation with him.

علم اليوم السابع من مصادر مطلعة بهيئة الخدمات البيطرية أن الدكتور حامد سماحة رئيس الهيئة قد أحال عددا من أطباء الطب البيطرى بالشرقية للتحقيق نظرا لتقاعسهم عن أداء واجبهم، وتباطؤهم فى تنفيذ قرارات الهيئة بتحصين الحيوانات ضد مرض الحمى القلاعية. Said the General Authority for Veterinary Services in a statement today, Thursday, it had distributed a complementary 6 million doses of vaccines used in immunization of animals, "cattle, buffalo" against foot and mouth disease, Rift Valley fever, smallpox and septicemia in all the governorates of Egypt.

Dr. Ahmed Imam, Director of Preventive Medicine, that the Commission was formed several committees to distribute two million doses of vaccine for immunization against foot and mouth disease, and two million for immunization against smallpox.

He pointed out that the Commission recognized the directorates in the governorates of Veterinary Medicine two million doses of immunization against Rift Valley fever, as well as 250 thousand doses of immunization against septicemia.

He told that the vaccines to immunize septicemia products that are less than a year, "newly born", a supplementary doses, indicating that the authority has 6 months before going to vaccinate animals, "newborn" against the disease.

The imam to the Veterinary Services is currently forming committees impromptu inspection directorates in the governorates of Veterinary Medicine, which was delivered doses, to follow the procedures of immunization, in addition to the formation of other committees for the withdrawal of samples from animals in the governorates, through which the development of vaccines used in immunization, especially as the probability of disease development is possible.

On the other hand sent the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in Kafr El-Sheikh explanatory memorandum to the veterinary services confirmed the absence of conservative foot and mouth disease, and not detected any cases of them.
The Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in its note that it has formed several committees, to withdraw samples from the animals and areas Hamul Baltim, and all samples were negative and free of the disease.

The farmers and breeders in Kafr El-Sheikh two months ago, filed several complaints to the Veterinary Services confirmed the injury to animals FMD.
