عقد الدكتور حامد سماحة رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية اجتماعا علميا السبت الماضى ضم عددا من أساتذة الطب البيطرى من مختلف الجامعات المصرية لمناقشة الآراء حول إصابة شحنة "جمال" قادمة من السودان بمرض الحمى القلاعية والتى تم حجزها بالحجر البيطرى بشلاتين.

وأوصت اللجنة إلى ضرورة أن يتم إعادة فحص "الجمال" مرة أخرى بعدد من المعامل الداخلية والخارجية ومعهد بحوث صحة الحيوان للتأكد من إصابتها، خاصة وأن هناك آراء علمية تؤكد استحالة إصابة الجمال بالمرض إضافة إلى كتابة تقرير حول نتائج العينات الجديدة والتى تم الاتفاق على أخذها من الشحنة المحتجزة فى موعد لا يتجاوز أسبوع على الأكثر.

وكان معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان قد أكد تقرير له إصابة 1270 جملا بمرض الحمى القلاعية لشحنة جمال قادمة من السودان، ومن جانبه أكد الدكتور يوسف ممدوح رئيس الإدارة المركزية للحجر البيطرى، أن شحنة الجمال القادمة من السودان "1270 جملا" لا تزال فى محاجر شلاتين بأسوان ولم يتم رفضها، مؤكدا أن مرض الحمى القلاعية لا ينتقل أو يصيب الجمال نهائيا، ولم تثبت أية حالات للإصابة بالمرض بالنسبة للجمال على مدار التاريخ وأن نتائج معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان غير صحيحة.

وأشار ممدوح أن حالات الاشتباه إن وجدت لا تزيد عن 7 جمال فقط وليس 26 جملا كما جاء فى تقرير معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان، ورغم أن المرض لا يصيب الجمال، إلا أن الهيئة تقوم الآن بسحب عينات أخرى من الشحنة للتأكد من ذلك. وأضاف ممدوح فى تصريحاته لليوم السابع أن شحنة الجمال جاءت فى رحلة مدتها 40 يوما من السودان حتى وصلت إلى شلاتين، وإذا كان هناك حالات إصابة فمن الأرجح أن تنفق هذه الحيوانات أثناء الرحلة الشاقة، نافيا إصدار أى قرار بشأن وقف الاستيراد من السودان وأكد أن الشراكة المصرية السودانية لا تزال قائمة، وأن الاستيراد ما زال مستمرا.

ومن ناحية أخرى، أكد مصدر بهيئة الخدمات البيطرية أن نتائج العينات التى تم تحليلها فى معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان والتى خرجت بنتائج إيجابية وإصابة الجمال بمرض الحمى القلاعية الهدف منه "الشوشرة لا أكثر" ولم يشير المصدر إلى المصلحة الناتجة عن هذه الشوشرة وأشار المصدر إلى أن الدكتورة منى محرز مدير معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان، كان من المفترض لها حضور اللجنة العلمية التى شكّلها حامد سماحة رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية لمناقشة هذا الموضوع، ولكن ظروف سفرها للساحل الشمالى حالات دون ذلك.

قال الدكتور حامد سماحة رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية، إن الهيئة طلبت من وزارة الزراعة 27 مليون جنيه لتحصين 6 ملايين رأس ماشية من الأبقار والجاموس فى مصر، مشيرًا إلى أن الكمية التى سيتم استيرادها تكفى لتحصين الحيوانات مرتين هذا العام.

ونفى سماحة انتقال أو إصابة الجمال بمرض الحمى القلاعية، وذلك حسبما أكدت التقارير والدراسات الدولية، مؤكدًا أن الحيوانات الوحيدة التى تصاب بهذا المرض هى الأبقار والجاموس فقط، وحتى الأغنام والماعز لا تصاب به ولا توجد أية أعراض للمرض فى تلك الحيوانات حتى الآن.

ولفت سماحة فى تصريحاته لليوم السابع إلى أن الحمى القلاعية مرض موجود أصلا فى مصر، ولا خوف على الحيوانات المصرية منه، مشيرا إلى أن التضخيم الإعلامى سيتسبب فى كارثة، ومحذرا من حدوث أزمة بين مصر والدول الموردة للحيوانات.
ونفى سماحة إصابة أية حيوانات بالمرض بالمحافظات، وذلك ردا على ما تردد من إصابة 500 رأس ماشية بالفيوم، وهو ما نفاه أيضا الدكتور إبراهيم البندارى مدير عام الطب الوقائى بالهيئة، مؤكدا أن الهيئة ستشكل لجنة تسافر إلى محافظة الفيوم لفحص جميع الحيوانات بها للتأكد من ذلك.

وأشار البندارى إلى أن هيئة الخدمات البيطرية تقوم بتشكيل لجان دورية لسحب عينات من الحيوانات وفحصها أولا بأول للتأكد من خلوها من المرض وذلك لعدم ثقة الهيئة بمديريات الطب البيطرى بالمحافظات

Foot-and mouth disease attacked cattle of Egypt. Yesterday, it was announced by Veterinary Medicines Directorate in the Egyptian governorate of Al Gharbyia that dozens of cattle died, having got infected with the epidemic. Samples were taken from a ranch in the Egyptian city of al-Santa and were proven positive.

Reda al-Sheshtawy, a ranch owner, was reported to have informed the Veterinary Medicine Directorate of the deaths of dozens of cattle at his ranch. In no time, a committee that included members from the Directorate as well as members from the Secondary Lab of Animal Health Research took samples from the ranch animals and sent them to Animal Health Labs. Results of the labs confirmed that the tested animals did have the foot-and-mouth infection.

On the other hand, it turned out that the ranch owner had brought non-immune calves which carried clostridium microbe. The poor man's intention was to breed these calves. Lest the disease should spread; especially as it is summer, the Directorate has taken extensive actions to keep the ranch concerned under close examination.

However, the Directorate confirmed that no more deaths occurred and the rest of the animals inside the infected ranch were in a good condition.

In the Egyptian governorate of Al Fayoum, General Director of Veterinary Medicine, Mahmoud Gouda Akel, feared mutation of the foot-and-mouth disease, pointing out that the available vaccine to be for immunization might not be effective in case of mutation.

He also stated that, Al Fayoum's Veterinary Medicines Directorate had received several reports from citizens in Al Fayoum as well as Tamyia cities informing the infection of a number of livestock. As a result, committees were sent to the two cities in order to examine the infected animals and give them the anti-serum for the disease.

At the same time, Minister of Agriculture, Amin Abaza, decided to set up a scientific committee consisting of virus professors in veterinary colleges. The aim of that committee should have been the examination of the camels kept at Veterinary Quarantine in the Egyptian city of Shalatin. These camels were suspected to have been infected with the disease. He continued to say that camels were animals with a considerable resistance to the disease. Had the camels been proven to have been infected, that would have been an unwelcome scientific turn, he added.

كلف الدكتور حامد سماحة رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية بوزارة الزراعة، الدكتور أحمد إمام على رأس لجنة بيطرية لفحص الجمال السودانية الموجودة حاليا بشلاتين تحت تحفظ الحجر البيطرى، وهى اللجنة الثالثة التى ترسلها الهيئة للتأكد من خلو الجمال السودانية من الحمى القلاعية.

وفى سياق متصل، شكلت هيئة الخدمات عددا من اللجان الفنية اليوم، الثلاثاء، استعدادا لسفرها غدا، الأربعاء، إلى عدد من المحافظات لسحب عينات من الحيوانات الموجودة، منها: أبقار وجاموس وماعز وأغنام، للتأكد من خلوها من الحمى القلاعية وحمى الوادى المتصدع، على أن تكون أولى المحافظات، الغربية ودمياط والفيوم وبورسعيد.

يأتى ذلك فى ضوء ما تردد عن ظهور الحمى القلاعية بين الماشية فى عدد من المحافظات، وهو كلام غير مؤكد حتى الآن، لأن نتائج التحليل المعملى بمعهد بحوث صحة الحيوان لم تخرج بعد. فى الوقت نفسه أرسل الدكتور أحمد السعيد مدير مديرية الطب البيطرى بالغربية إخطارا لهيئة الخدمات البيطرية، يؤكد فيه عدم ظهور أى حالات حمى قلاعية، وأن مزرعة رضا الششتاوى تم تحصينها ضد المرض فى مارس 2009، ويجرى متابعة وفحص المزرعة يوميا، وكذلك فى باقى أنحاء المحافظة.

نفى الدكتور أحمد سعيد مدير مديرية الطب البيطرى بالغربية، وجود أى حالات حمى قلاعية داخل المحافظة، ووجود أى حالات نفوق بين الماشية بسببها، ونفى بشدة ما جاء فى إحدى الصحف، وأشار إلى أنه لم يقل أى تصريحات أو بيانات حول تفشى المرض.

وأشار إلى أن صاحب مزرعة بالسنطة البلد مركز السنطة، أفاد بنفوق عجول جاموس بمزرعته، وتم تشكيل لجان مشتركة من مديرية الطب البيطرى بالغربية والهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية بالقاهرة، ومعهد بحوث الحيوان بالقاهرة، ومعمل بحوث صحة الحيوان الفرعى بطنطا، وتم سحب العينات من الحيوانات والعليقة المستخدمة لعلف الحيوانات والمياه وبقايا الطعام الموجود بالكرش وأمعاء عجلين جاموس تم ذبحهما اضطراريا، تبين أن عينات الكلوسيرترديم التى تم سحبها من العجول سلبية لوجود أجسام المناعة المضادة لفيروس الحمى القلاعية.

وأضاف مدير مديرية الطب البيطرى بأنه تم تحصين المزرعة باللقاح الجامع للكلوسيرترديم على نفقة صاحب المزرعة، وأنه تم تحصين المزرعة بلقاح الحمى القلاعية فى شهر مارس 2009، وهذه المزرعة ليست مغلقة، بل يقوم صاحبها بشراء عجول جديدة وإدخالها للمزرعة بصفة مستمرة، مؤكداً أنه يوجد حالة واحدة مصابة بالمرض على مستوى المحافظة، ويتم المرور الدورى بصفة منتظمة على جميع المزارع، ولم يتم رصد أى حالة نهائيا خلال الفترة الماضية.

نفى مصدر مسئول بمديرية الطب البيطرى ببورسعيد لليوم السابع أن ما يتردد بوجود الحمى القلاعية بحظائر بورسعيد غير صحيح على الإطلاق، لأننا نقوم بالتفتيش الدورى على كافة الحظائر المتواجدة ببورسعيد والمترامية بمنطقة القابوطى الجديد جنوب بورسعيد، من خلال حملات مستمرة تستهدف البحث عن الحمى القلاعية بين الجاموس والأبقار التى تظهر على المواشى من خلال الأعراض الظاهرية، مثل دموع العينين وزيادة كمية اللعاب وتآكل خلايا جدار فتحة الفم وتآكل الحافر وعدم مقدرة الماشية على الوقوف.

مؤكدا أنه يتم متابعة يوميا للحظائر والتحصينات كل 6 أشهر للحمى القلاعية، بالإضافة إلى تحصين الماشية ضد حمى الوادى المتصدع، وقال إنه يتم السيطرة على المواشى القادمة من المحافظات المجاورة عن طريق المنافذ الجمركية، لمنع دخول مثل هذه الأمراض إلى حظائر بورسعيد، مؤكدا أن الهدف من هذه الإشاعة ارتفاع أسعار الألبان المبسترة والدواجن وغيرها من الأسماك وانخفاض أسعار اللحوم.

أكد الدكتور محمود جودة عقل مدير عام الطب البيطرى بالفيوم، فى تصريح خاص لليوم السابع، أن بعض الأبقار التى ظهرت عليها أعراض مرض الحمى القلاعية، تماثلت للشفاء تماما، مؤكداً أن البلاغات توقفت تماما من قبل المربين، والذين كانوا أبلغوا عن ظهور أعراض المرض على بعض الأبقار، والمتمثلة فى ارتفاع درجة الحرارة والتهاب فى القدمين وتسلخات فى اللسان، وضعف إدرار اللبن، ونقض الوزن والامتناع عن تناول الطعام.

وقال عقل إن آخر هذه البلاغات كان يوم 15 يوليه الجارى، وإن المديرية قامت بحملات تحصين على مستوى مراكز المحافظة، باستخدام اللقاح ثنائى العطرة (o.a)، وتأكدنا من إصابة 7 حالات من الأبقار بالمرض، ولكن تم شفاؤها تماما، ونفى تماما وجود أى حالة نفوق من المرض، مشيرا إلى أنه قد يكون هناك حالات نفوق طبيعية، والتى تحدث من أى أمراض أخرى، ولكن لا يوجد بالمحافظة أى حالة نفوق نتيجة الإصابة بمرض الحمى القلاعية. ذكر تقرير رسمي صادر عن منظمة الأغذية والزراعة "الفاو"،أن الإبل لا تصاب بمرض الحمى القلاعية، وأن ما تردد حول حدوث إصابات للجمال التي تم التحفظ عليها بمعرفة الحجر البيطري بمنطقة شلاتين يتنافي مع الأسس العلمية التي تؤكد استحالة إصابتها بالمرض.

وأوضح تقرير "الفاو"،الذي حصلت "المصري اليوم" علي نسخة منه،أن المنظمة العالمية للصحة الحيوانية أصدرت تقريرا في مايو الماضي يؤكد أن الإبل لا تصاب بمرض الحمى القلاعية ولم يتم تسجيل أي حالات إصابة بالمرض في أجسام الجمال دوليا.

وتسبب التقرير في حدوث حالة ارتباك في وزارة الزراعة، الأمر الذي دفعها إلي استدعاء الدكتورة "مني محرز" مدير معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان للقاء الوزير لتفسر نتائج التحاليل التي أجراها المعهد، والتي أدت إلي حدوث "جدل" كبير خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية، وأثار استياء عدد من المستوردين بسبب تأثيره السلبي علي سوق اللحوم الحمراء في مصر، وأكد "أمين أباظة" وزير الزراعة خلال اجتماعه أمس وعدد من قيادات الوزارة، أهمية العلاقات بين مصر والسودان وان موضوع الجمال في طريقه للحل لاستمرار تدفق الجمال السودانية إلي مصر.

وشددت مصادر رفيعة المستوي بوزارة الزراعة على ضرورة توحيد جهات الإشراف علي استيراد الحيوانات وجهات التحليل بدلا من التضارب الحالي بين الجهتين، مشيرين إلى ضرورة تعديل قانون الهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية ونقل تبعية معامل معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان إلي الهيئة لتوحيد جهة المسئولية عن الحيوانات المستوردة من الخارج.

ولفتت إلي أن معهد صحة الحيوان تسبب في الإساءة للعلاقات بين مصر والسودان، وذلك بالتشكيك في سلامة الجمال السودانية التي تستورد مصر منها سنويا ما يتجاوز 150 ألف رأس، منوهين بما اعتبروه محاولة معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان المستمرة للتشكيك في الجهود التي تقوم بها الهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية لمكافحة مرض أنفلونزا الطيور والأمراض الوبائية الأخرى، وذلك وسط حالة استغراب شديدة من قيادات الوزارة، لأن المعهد والهيئة يتبعان وزارة واحدة وليس هناك مبرر لحدوث الاتهامات المتبادلة بين الطرفين.

وأضافت المصادر انه يجب محاسبة المخطئ ومعاقبة المخالفين الذين استغلوا ثقة الدولة والجهات الدولية، مشيرة إلي ضرورة مشاركة معاهد أخري متخصصة في إجراء جميع التحليلات التي يقوم بها المعهد سواء المتعلقة بالحمى القلاعية أو أنفلونزا الطيور من خلال اعتماد معامل آخري تابعة لوزارة الزراعة لديها كفاءة كبري في إجراء جميع تحاليل لحالات الاشتباه بالأمراض الوبائية حتى لا تفقد مصر مصداقيتها علي المستوي الدولي في ظل مخاطر الأمراض الوبائية التي تنتشر حاليا في العالم.

استعدادات مكثفة لمواجهة مرض الحمى القلاعية فى محافظات مصر

أكد الدكتور ناجى نصيف عبد الملك، وكيل وزارة الطب البيطرى ببورسعيد، أن لجنة هيئة الخدمات البيطرية بمديرية الطب البيطرى، قامت اليوم بزيارة مفاجئة لحظائر "القابوطى الجديدة"، وقرى بحر البقر جنوب المحافظة لسحب عينات دم من الحيوانات بهذه الحظائر، والتى سبق تحصينها والكشف الدورى عليها للتأكد من خلوها من مرض الحمى القلاعية، ومعرفة نتائج الفحوصات والتحصينات التى أجرتها المديرية فى فترات سابقة.

وأشار عبد الملك أنه رغم تحصين بعض الحيوانات، لكن ذلك لا يمنع المرض من الانتقال إليها، نتيجة دخول حيوانات من المحافظات الأخرى تكون حاملة للمرض، مؤكداً أن برامج التحصين ضد الحمى القلاعية مستمرة بشكل دورى لحماية الثروة الحيوانية، بالإضافة إلى تحصين الحيوانات ضد الأمراض الوبائية الأخرى كحمى الوادى المتصدع والتهاب الجلدى العقدى، من خلال التحصين على مدار السنة.

كما أكد مصدر مطلع أن ظهور الحمى القلاعية فى المحافظات الأخرى يرجع إلى عدم توفير اللقاحات التى تستخدمها الهيئة، نظرا للعجز الشديد فى توفير لقاح الحمى القلاعية رغم سعيها لمحاولة السيطرة عليه للحفاظ على الثروة الحيوانية التى وصفه المصدر مثل شلل الأطفال.

وفى المنيا، أعلنت مديرية الطب البيطرى بالمحافظة حالة الطوارئ تحسبا لظهور أى أمراض وبائية، خاصة مرض الحمى القلاعية للمواشى بعد انتشاره بين الأبقار والجاموس بمحافظة الفيوم. وأعلن الدكتور محمد مصطفى مدير الطب البيطرى، أنه تم خلال الفترة 1/1/2009 وحتى 13 مايو الماضى تطعيم 346989 ما بين أبقار وجاموس، نافياً وجود الحمى القلاعية بمحافظة المنيا.

أما دمياط، فأكد د. إبراهيم جاد مدير عام الطب البيطرى بالمحافظة، أنه لا يوجد أى حالات حمى قلاعية فى دمياط، مشيراً إلى أنه تم أخذ عينات عشوائية من المزارع الحيوانية بدمياط وتحليلها، وجاءت النتائج جميعها سلبية.

كما أشار جاد أن المديرية ملتزمة بخطة الوزارة فى التحصين الدورى مرتين كل عام، وأنه تم وضع خطة مرور على جميع المزارع، ومتابعتها، وأخذ عينات لتحليلها، كما تم إعداد فريق لتلقى أى شكاوى من الفلاحين وأصحاب المزارع. 3 governorates to meet the emergency of foot and mouth disease

كذّب عدد من الخبراء البيطريون ما أكده نظراؤهم بهيئة الخدمات البيطرية من استحالة انتقال أو إصابة "الجمال" بمرض الحمى القلاعية، وأكد البيطريون أن مرض الحمى القلاعية ينتقل بالفعل للجمال وليس كما أكد خبراء هيئة الخدمات.

وقال الدكتور سامى طه رئيس حركة بيطريون بلا حدود، إن مرض الحمى القلاعية ينتقل إلى جميع الحيوانات مشقوقة الحافر كالأبقار والجاموس والماعز والأغنام والجمال أيضا، موضحا أن أعراض المرض التى تصيب الجمال تختلف عنها فى أى حيوانات أخرى لذا يصعب اكتشاف المرض بسهولة.

وأكد طه أن ما قاله رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية الدكتور حامد سماحة حول عدم تسجيل أى حالات إصابة بالمرض بالنسبة للجمال غير صحيح، فقد تم عزل سلالة المرض فى مصر عام 1989، وذلك بمعرفة الدكتور على موسى رئيس الهيئة الراحل، وقد تم تسجيل هذه الحالات فى المنظمة الدولية للصحة الحيوانية "oie".

وكان الدكتور حامد سماحة رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية قد أكد استحالة إصابة الجمال بمرض الحمى القلاعية، ولم يثبت عمليا أو علميا إصابة الجمال بالمرض على مدار التاريخ.
ولفت الدكتور طه إلى أن الخوف عند استيراد الجمال من دخول سلالات جديدة للمرض وهو ما حدث فى عام 2006 عندما استوردت مصر صفقة حيوانات حية، من إثيوبيا وسجلت سلالة جديدة لمرض الحمى القلاعية وهى السلالة "a" والتى كبدت مصر خسائر قدرت بحوالى 3 مليارات جنيه. بعد أن أخفت الحكومة أمر هذه السلالة لشهور طويلة.
ومن المعروف وحسبما يؤكد الدكتور طه، أن مصر بها سلالة مرض الحمى القلاعية "o " وعندما دخلت سلالة جديدة عليه اضطر العلماء إلى اكتشاف لقاح مزدوج لمكافحة المرض، ولكن بعد أن تسبب فى خسائر كبيرة نتيجة نفوق الحيوانات الصغيرة وضعفت إنتاجية الألبان واللحوم وقتها.

وهاجم طه سياسة استيراد الحيوانات الحية من دول أفريقيا، مشيرا إلى أن هناك قرارا جمهوريا صادر عام 1983 برقم 38 بضرورة استيراد اللحوم المذبوحة فقط، لذا يجب التعامل مع اللحوم السودانية بالتبريد والتجميد فقط.

ومن جانبه، أكد الدكتور محمد عماد منسق "حركة بيطريون بلا حدود" أن الحمى القلاعية تنتقل إلى الجمال باعتبارها من الحيوانات المشقوقة الحافر، وما حدث من شكوك حول الصفقة الأخيرة وإصابتها بالمرض، يؤكد أن المرض موجود وتصاب به الجمال وليس صحيحا أن الجمال لا تصاب بالحمى القلاعية.

قررت هيئة الخدمات البيطرية، تشكيل لجنة بيطرية لفحص "الجمال" المحتجزة بالحجر البيطرى بشلاتين، وذلك للتأكد من خلوها من مرض الحمى القلاعية، حتى يتم الإفراج عنها والسماح بدخولها فى حال عدم ثبوت إصابتها، أو إعادة تصديرها إذا كانت مصابة بالفعل.

وقال الدكتور حامد سماحة رئيس هيئة الخدمات البيطرية، إن تحصين الثروة الحيوانية ضد مرض الحمى القلاعية، يحتاج إلى 50 مليون جنيه لم يتوفر منها سوى 20 مليون فقط. وكان تقرير لمجلس الشعب ذكر أن الهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية تحتاج إلى 60 مليون جنيه لاستكمال وتجديد 35 وحدة بيطرية، وإنشاء محاجر السويس وبورسعيد وأبو سمبل السلوم والعاشر من رمضان، وتجديد محاجر الإسكندرية وأسوان ومراكز التدريب البيطرى والإرشاد والرعاية التناسلية.

وأشار سماحة إلى أن الجمال من الحيوانات التى لديها مقاومة كبيرة لمرض الحمى القلاعية، ونادرا ما تحدث إصابات لها بهذا المرض، وفى حالة ثبوت الإصابة فسيكون ذلك انقلابا علميا نأمل عدم حدوثه.

وكشف تقرير أعدته الهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية، أنه تم رصد حدوث 5 حالات إصابة بمرض الحمى القلاعية بمحافظة البحيرة لعدد 4 أبقار وجاموسة، بداية العام الحالى 2009، بينما بلغ عدد الإصابات بالمرض خلال عام 2008 نحو 70 حالة، 30 حالة عام 2007. وأكدت مصادر مطلعة بوزارة الزراعة أن الوزارة تدرس اعتماد معامل حكومية أخرى تابعة للوزارة بخلاف المعمل المرجعى للرقابة التابع لمعهد بحوث صحة الحيوان. Well-informed sources affirmed that the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry is considering the adoption of other government laboratories affiliated with the Ministry other than the laboratory of reference for the control of the Research Institute for Animal Health.

إجراءات مشددة لمنع الحمى القلاعية فى محافظات مصر

نفى الدكتور إسماعيل سهمود مدير عام الطب البيطرى بالإسماعيلية، ما تردد عن وجود حالات إصابة بمرض الحمى القلاعية بين الأبقار والجاموس بالمحافظة. وأكد أن هناك حملات تفتيش دورية على جميع الحظائر الموجودة بالمحافظة، وأنه لم تظهر أية أعراض ظاهرية على المواشى تدل على إصابتها بالمرض، مثل دموع فى العينين وزيادة فى كمية اللعاب وتآكل الحافر.

وقال سمهود إنه يتم إعطاء التحصينات اللازمة للماشية ضد مرض الحمى القلاعية وحمى الوادى المتصدع كل 6 أشهر، كما تجرى عملية رقابة مشددة على المواشى القادمة من المحافظات المجاورة، والتى تخضع للتفتيش البيطرى للتأكد من خلوها من مرض الحمى القلاعية أو أية أمراض أخرى.

قالت الدكتورة منى محرز، مدير معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان، رئيس المعمل المركزى للرقابة على الإنتاج الداجنى إنه تم سحب ١٢٧ عينة من الجمال السودانية التى تم احتجازها فى المحجر البيطرى فى شلاتين جنوب مصر.

وأكدت مدير المعهد أن نتائج العينات المأخوذة من ٧ جمال أثبتت أنها مصابة بمرض الحمى القلاعية أما باقى العينات فجاءت خالية من المرض، مشيرة إلى أنه سيتم عرضها على الدكتور أيمن فريد أبوحديد، رئيس مركز البحوث الزراعية، تمهيداً لعرضها على أمين أباظة، وزير الزراعة، وأوضحت منى محرز أن التقارير العلمية التى أصدرتها المنظمة العالمية للصحة الحيوانية المعروفة اختصاراً بـOIE ومقرها باريس تؤكد أن الجمال من الحيوانات التى تصاب بمرض الحمى القلاعية.

وقالت لـ?المصرى اليوم? إن الدراسات والأبحاث تفيد بأن الجمال من الحيوانات القابلة للعدوى بمرض الحمى القلاعية ولكن قابليتها للعدوى ليست بالصورة الموجودة فى الأبقار والجاموس، لافتة إلى أن الفحص الذى يقوم به معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان باختيار معتمد دولياً من مجموعة من الباحثين لمرض الحمى القلاعية بالاتحاد الأوروبى.

وأشارت إلى أن ظهور حالات إيجابية للإصابة بمرض الحمى القلاعية لدى الجمال لا يعنى نهاية المطاف أو أن هناك أزمة لأنها حالات إصابة محدودة ولا يمكن مقارنتها بالأعداد الكبيرة التى تستوردها مصر من السودان سنوياً والتى تتجاوز الـ١٥٠ ألف رأس، وهو ما يعنى بالتأكيد أن نتائج التحليل لا تخضع للأهواء الشخصية أو المصالح ولكنها طبقاً لرؤية علمية واختبارات يقوم بالإشراف عليها علماء معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان.

وأكدت أنه لا توجد أى خلافات بين معهد بحوث صحة الحيوان والهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية لأننا جميعاً نسعى لهدف واحد هو الحفاظ على الثروة الحيوانية والصحة العامة.

She stressed that there were no differences between the Research Institute for Animal Health and the General Authority for Veterinary Services, because we all strive for one goal is to preserve the wealth of animal and public health.

تقوم محافظة أسيوط بتطعيم 370 ألف رأس جاموس و224 ألف رأس أبقار ضد مرض الحمى القلاعية خلال الشهر الجارى، صرح بذلك الدكتور محمد مرزوق مدير إدارة الطب البيطرى بالمحافظة.

أشار مرزوق إلى أن حملات منظمة للتطعيم والتحصين ضد المرض تجوب القرى بمختلف مراكز المحافظة، مضيفاً أن جميع خدمات الحملة من تطعيم وتحصين تقدم بالمجان وبواسطة نخبة متميزة من أطباء الأمراض والأوبئة بمديرية الطب البيطرى.

وأوضح مرزوق أن الحملات تتم من منزل لآخر بمختلف القرى واشتملت الحملات على المزارع الحكومية بجانب المزارع الأهلية، مؤكداً أن الحملات المكثفة للتحصين والمتابعة تأتى فى إطار الوقاية من المرض، حيث لم يتم تسجيل أى حالات إصابات بالحمى القلاعية هذا العام بمختلف قرى المحافظة. 595

أفرجت إدارة الحجر البيطرى بمنافذ حلايب والشلاتين عن رسالة الجمال السودانية المحتجزة بمنفذ حدربة، وذلك منذ أسبوعين، البالغ عددها 1275 جملاً، بعد أن أثبتت نتائج تحاليل العينات التى تم إرسالها إلى معمل برابريت البريطانى بخلوها من الإصابة بمرض الحمى القلاعية، وأرسلت وزارة الزراعة فاكساً إلى جميع الجهات المختصة بالبحر الأحمر للإفراج عن الرسالة التى تم احتجازها من قبل.
