Six additional flu deaths were reported Wednesday in Dallas County, raising the county's toll to 60 this season.
As of Feb. 7, there have been 105 reported flu-related deaths this season across North Texas, including
60 in Dallas County, 23 in Tarrant County, 14 in Collin County, seven in Denton County and one in Parker County.

DCHHS reports six additional flu-related deaths of season
55th, 56th, 57th, 58th, 59th, and 60th cases
DALLAS (Feb. 7, 2018) ? Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) is reporting six additional flu-related deaths in Dallas County totaling 60 flu-related deaths for the 2017-2018 season. The patients range in age from 36 to 86 and were residents of DeSoto, Dallas, Richardson and Garland. All patients had high risk health conditions and died after complications from the seasonal flu. For medical confidentiality and personal privacy reasons, DCHHS does not provide additional identifying information.
