Texas Influenza season 2017-18; 248 fatalities

Jim - I'm unsure about the Tarrant total. I've seen 21 and also 8. For example this report has the updated totals for Collin & Dallas, but still 8 for Tarrant http://keranews.org/post/dozens-north-texans-have-died-flu-heres-how-protect-yourself .In a report from a few days ago, one paragraph had 8 while another paragraph had 21 - It seemed that the reporter had confused Tarrant with Travis county. It's possible that confusion resulted from that mistake. The county website is unhelpful. The flu report does not include adult fatalities http://access.tarrantcounty.com/en/...linklocation=Button List&linkname=Flu reports and press releases only count the 3 deaths prior to Jan 10. http://access.tarrantcounty.com/en/...elated-deaths-reported-in-tarrant-county.html

I was wondering about a possible confusion between Tarrant and Travis County numbers. I'll try to check the County websites to see if I can sort it out.

As of 1/29/18, Travis County is reporting 24 flu-related deaths.
