Another West Nile Virus death has been reported in North Texas.

The victim was a man in his late 70s living in Hurst. The health department said he did have underlying medical conditions...

Officials with the City of El Paso Department of Public Health announced today the death of a 67-year-old woman from West Nile virus. The woman lived in the 79935 zip code and had underlying health conditions. This is the third death in the area from West Nile so far this year...

Health and Human Services Director Zach Thompson said the person lived in the 75228 ZIP code, which is in the Casa Linda area of East Dallas. He was a man in his forties with an underlying health condition...

2nd Midland resident dies from West Nile virus

A second Midland resident has died after contracting the West Nile virus, Midland Memorial Hospital officials confirmed Monday.

The older adult -- whose name, gender and age couldn't be released because of medical confidentiality laws -- died Sunday afternoon, said Marcy Madrid, director of marketing and media relations.

The death marks the second one in Midland County and the fourth one in West Texas in less than a month...

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) ? The West Nile Virus continues to be a danger in North Texas. Wednesday officials with Tarrant Public Health confirmed the eighth virus-related death in that county.

The victim was a Fort Worth resident in his 50s. He had underlying medical conditions.

Across North Texas there have been nearly 950 human cases of West Nile reported, with 261 of those in Tarrant County...
