VILLAGERS have formed an emergency group to battle the possible outbreak of swine flu in their community.
Although the swine flu pandemic has yet to reach the Seavingtons, which are nestled in between South Petherton and Ilminster, residents have formed a small network of volunteers to help anyone diagnosed with the illness.
The group, under the leadership of Rev D. Fyfe, will arrange collection of their Tamiflu prescription.
But Rev Fyfe said: ?In the first instance anyone with swine flu symptoms should contact their own doctor or call the national help-line.
?Any resident who then needs help collecting their Tamiflu should call one of us and give them their Tamiflu prescription number.
?Someone will then collect it from the distribution depot and deliver it to them.?
Phone numbers for the volunteers have been circulated among residents.
