Saskatchewan reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday afternoon, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 231.

There are four people in the hospital, including three people who are receiving inpatient care in Saskatoon and one person in the ICU in Regina.

There have been seven more recoveries from COVID-19 bringing the total number of recoveries to 55...

Saskatchewan reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday afternoon, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 249.

There are four people in the hospital, including two people who are receiving inpatient care in Saskatoon and one person in the ICU in Regina, along with one person in the ICU in Saskatoon.

REGINA -- There are four new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, the province announced on Monday. For the first time since the novel virus was initially confirmed in the province, the number of new recoveries exceeded the number of new cases with 14.

This is also the smallest increase in new cases since March 18.

The province says that out of the total 253 cases, 169 are considered "active." This number represents confirmed cases, minus recoveries and deaths...

Sask. announces 11 new cases

For the first time this week, Saskatchewan had a double-digit number of new cases of COVID-19 in the province Wednesday.

There were 11 new cases of novel coronavirus announced by the province, bringing Saskatchewan’s total to 271.

Four new cases were announced Monday and seven on Tuesday.

Of the 271 cases, 165 are considered active. Fifteen more people have recovered, bringing that provincial total to 103...

REGINA -- Another person has died from complications related to COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, the province announced on Saturday.

The person was in their 60s and died in Regina, the province said in a news release...

...Dr. Saqib Shahab, Saskatchewan’s Chief Medical Health Officer, said the most recent death was a person in his late 60s with an underlying medical condition. Previously two deaths were in people aged 70 to 79 and one was someone aged 80-years or older...

...Health officials also announced four new cases on Saturday, bringing the provincial total to 289.

REGINA -- The province of Saskatchewan announced nine new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, and 17 new recoveries.

Seven of the new cases are confirmed, two are presumptive. The government says the presumptive cases are due to more testing machines being added in the province...

... There are seven people with COVID-19 in Saskatchewan receiving inpatient hospital treatment. No one is in the ICU.

Of the total 296 confirmed cases, 130 are considered active and 164 people have recovered...

Saskatchewan reported its fewest new novel coronavirus cases in almost a month.

Health officials reported Monday two new cases in the province in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 300.

It is the fewest new cases reported over a 24 hour period since March 16, when one case was reported...

REGINA -- Saskatchewan is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the province’s total number of cases to 307.

One of the new cases is confirmed and the other is presumptive positive.

Of those 307 cases, 75 are considered active...There are currently six people in hospital. One is in the ICU, the province says, and the rest are receiving acute care...
