Sask. reports five new COVID-19 cases, nine recoveries

Continuing Saskatchewan’s current trend, the province reported more recoveries from COVID-19 than new cases Thursday.

Five new cases of novel coronavirus in the province were reported along with nine more recoveries.

The new cases bring Saskatchewan’s total to 331. Of those, 57 are considered active. Nine more people were reported to have recovered, bringing the total number of Saskatchewan people to recover from the virus to 270.

To date, 25,872 COVID-19 tests have been done in Saskatchewan, a number officials say is well above the national average of 16,155 tests per million population...
