JAIPUR/KOTA: Two more persons died of swine flu in Rajasthan, taking the death toll in the state due to the dreaded HINI virus to 432 since January this year, an official said today.

Out of 6,689 people diagnosed with the virus in the state, 432 people have died, an official of State Medical and Health Directorate said here.

One Vikram (30), succumbed to H1N1 in Baran district on August 31, Parwati Bunkar (58) died in Jaipur on September 4, while Manju (45) died in Bundi district on September 7, a senior officer of state medical and health directorate said today.

Seven persons found H1N1 positive are under treatment, he said.

The district hospitals have been alerted to take all precautions and provide ICU and testing facilities to H1N1 positive patients, the officer said.

With the slight change in weather, swine flu has struck again in the city claiming one life. The deceased was middle aged woman who was admitted to the swine flu ward with positive reports.

Swine flu on Monday claimed the life of a 50 year old woman of Mandi Ki Naal area of the city. The victim woman was admitted to the swine flu ward of M.B hospital on September 10 after she was suspected with the problem. But after receiving the treatment for 3 days she finally succumbed to swine flu on Monday morning at 10.45 am, said Dr. Mahesh Dave in charge of the swine flu ward.
