To date, 109 cases of the virus have been found in Health workers. Of these confirmed diagnoses, 66 were from work contact, 40 community contagion and 3 are under study.

Meanwhile, 6 members of the Joint Task Force have died in the fight against COVID-19, 65 have recovered and another 791 agents who were under quarantine have been discharged.

Panama, May 3 (EFE) .- Panama added 3 more deaths from COVID-19 to reach 200 deaths, and registered 107 new cases that make a cumulative total of 7,197 confirmed infections of the disease, the health authorities of the country.

3,480 people are in home isolation, of which 1,095 have been hospitalized in hotels that function temporarily as hospitals.

There are 373 patients who have been hospitalized, 282 in the ward and 91 in intensive care units (ICU) nationwide.

Among the patients who have recovered after going through laboratory tests there are 641, and 2,503 who have been clinically restored who no longer have symptoms and have completed 14 days of quarantine, for a total of 3,144 cured.

The bank has also modified the loan portfolio as a relief to clients in the face of the health crisis.

Cortizo said today that it was also approved with the regulator that electricity, water, landline, mobile and internet services should not be suspended, and that the electricity bill will have a 30% and 50% discount for homes affected by the pandemic.

The governor partially vetoed bill 287, and announced that extraordinary sessions will be called for the National Assembly to make changes to the rule once it is returned to the Legislative Branch.
