​The twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are witnessing a steady increase in dengue cases as health authorities confirmed dozens of new infections within the past 24 hours, raising concern over the spread of the mosquito-borne virus.

According to the District Health Department, Rawalpindi reported 23 additional dengue patients during the last day, bringing the city’s total case count to 511 since July. This year, 523 people have contracted the virus in Rawalpindi alone, with 60 patients currently admitted to various hospitals for treatment.​..

Health Dept confirms 276 dengue cases reported in Sindh during current month

KARACHI, Oct 21 (APP):The Sindh Health Department has released a report on confirmed dengue cases across the province, revealing that 276 new cases have been reported during the current month, bringing the total number of cases in 2025 to 920.
Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho stated that Karachi Division remains the most affected, where 124 cases were reported, followed by Hyderabad Division with 82 cases, Mirpurkhas with 58, Sukkur with 9, Shaheed Benazirabad 2 and one case in Larkana.​..

Karachi continues to face a sharp rise in dengue infections as 642 people tested positive in the last 24 hours amid ongoing province-wide testing of the virus.

According to the Sindh Health Department, a total of 4,371 dengue tests were conducted in Karachi during the latest reporting period, making the city the highest contributor to the province’s growing dengue burden this week.

Health Secretary Rehan Baloch said 109 new dengue patients were admitted to government hospitals across Sindh, while another 100 were admitted to private hospitals, showing rising pressure on healthcare facilities...

KARACHI: Over 4,000 cases of dengue fever have been reported this month, with a death in Hyderabad in the last 24 hours, raising the tally to 21 in more than a month, the health department reported on Wednesday.

According to the department’s data, more than half of this month’s total cases have been reported in Hyderabad (2118), followed by Karachi (1,857). A total of 9,638 cases have been reported this year.

Sources said the situation was far more serious than what is presented by official data and that the official figures didn’t represent the ground reality.​..

KARACHI: Dengue cases in Sindh continue to climb sharply, with 260 new infections reported in the past 24 hours, according to the latest daily update issued by the Director General Health Sindh.

The report revealed that 71 patients were admitted to hospitals across the province during this period, 43 in government hospitals and 34 in private facilities.

Karachi accounted for the highest admissions, with 25 new patients entering government hospitals, while Hyderabad recorded nine new admissions.

Health officials noted some positive developments as well: 42 patients were discharged from government hospitals after recovery, while 45 recovered in private hospitals. No dengue-related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.

A total of 3,328 tests were conducted across government and private laboratories, of which 260 returned positive. Karachi labs reported 147 cases, while 113 were detected in Hyderabad...
