The Dutch woman is of Surinamese descent and would have infected with zika during a holiday in Suriname. She was examined at the AMC hospital in Amsterdam. An echo of the head of her child made and it was found that everything was in order.
No blood test

Commenting Minister Schippers said she does not know whether it is indeed this is a zika infection. "That has not been confirmed to me by the RIVM."
