The first recorded death from influenza A H1N1 in Zamora

Zamora, Michoacan .- So far this year, there have been five new cases of influenza A/H1N1 in the jurisdiction of the health of Zamora, where he was registered as the first death from this cause, sources with the Ministry of Health the State.

Crist?bal Garc?a Mendoza, Chief court in Zamora, said that the five new cases occurred in the municipalities of Ting?ind?n, Jacona and Zamora, so have intensified in all municipalities within the river's actions against malicious virus vaccination.

Moreover, the Ministry of Health issued a bulletin which reports on the death of a woman from the town of Zamora because of influenza A/H1N1.

Although in summary, the statement reports that the woman was 36 years old and that complications ensued was treated first because nine days of submitting the symptoms but also had factors associated with an increased risk of suffering from pneumonia, as by their smoking status were weakened lungs.

The statement further states that currently exist in the hospitals of the Health Department there are 16 people admitted with respiratory disease, one of which confirmed the presence of influenza virus A (H1N1). Of these, 5 are serious and 9 sensitive.

Morelia, February 5 .- During this year in Michoac?n seven people have died because of the pandemic virus AH1N1 influence, informed the secretary of health in the State, Armando Luna.

He said the cumulated since the start of the pandemic is 29 deaths and two thousand 936 cases and urged citizens to attend the health centers of the unit to be vaccinated against influenza and the practice of hygiene measures .

Stressed that the latest death from the H1N1 influenza virus occurred in a hospital in Uruapan, was a woman of 48 years was admitted to hospital with symptoms of pneumonia.

He stressed that "While the number of cases of influenza A/H1N1 has subsided, does not mean that the risk has diminished, because microbes, climate and humidity favor other respiratory infections.

On the other hand, stated that currently there are 12 patients with pneumonia in the state, of which, "We only have two serious cases, in intensive care, and none of them was positive for influenza A/H1N1. (With information Fernando Perez / CFE)
