Morelia, Michoacan .- According to the latest report issued by the National Institute of Epidemiological Diagnosis (INDRE), the number of cases positive for Influenza A (H1N1) recorded in Michoacan since the beginning of the epidemic rises to 608, which means an increase in 14 cases regarding the 594 cases reported to the Minister of Health on Monday morning.
Although most cases present with mild symptoms and recover in a few days in the last hours has been reported a new death, so now there are four deaths in Michoacan new virus associated with influenza A (H1N1). The latest victim is a woman aged 36 who died in Morelia following an atypical pneumonia associated with the new virus.
The new cases have occurred in the cities of L?zaro C?rdenas, Morelia, Patzcuaro, Venustiano Carranza, Ting?ind?n and Salvador Escalante. These 6 men and 8 women, most of whom had symptoms of respiratory illness in the last days of August. For ages, continue to dominate children and adolescents (6 cases), adults between 20 and 30 years (3 cases) and those between 30 and 60 years (5 cases).
