Wednesday May 27 2020 Mexico reports 78023 cases and 8597 deaths
At tonight's 7pm press conference, the government reported 78023 cases, an increase in cases of 3463 or 4.6%. Of these, 15592 are active cases, an increase of 874 since yesterday. As well, there are 33566 suspected cases.
Deaths increased by 463 or 5.7% to 8597. There are 727 suspected deaths.
Mexico has done 244858 tests.
98% of the now 772 (up 13 from yesterday) COVID-19 hospitals reported on patient numbers yesterday. Of the hospital beds designated for COVID-19, on a national level 39% are occupied leaving 61% available. In Mexico City, 70% of those beds are occupied and in Guerrero 76%.
Of the hospital beds with ventilators, on a national level 35% are occupied. In Mexico City 60% are occupied. Six states, including Mexico City, have an occupancy rate of higher than 50%

The deaths represented by the blue bars, all of which were registered and reported yesterday May 26 are deaths that happened on a wide range of dates from April 11 to May 26.
