May 13, 2020 Mexico reports 40,186 cases and 4,220 deaths
At tonight's 7pm press conference, Mexico reported 40,186 cases, an increase of 1,862 or 4.9%. Of these, 9,378 are active cases. As well, there are 24,856 suspected cases.
Deaths increased by 294 or 7.5% to 4220. The number of suspected deaths is 318.
Of the beds designated for COVID-19, 34% on a national level are occupied. In Mexico City, 70% are occupied.
Of the beds with a ventilator, 28% are occupied. In Mexico City, 57% are occupied. Only one state, Sinaloa, reports a higher occupation rate at 60%.
